I don't want Takumi to lose to Eizan. I think he is established to be Soma's rival, hence his escape from expulsion during the confrontation with Rindou. Their interations and great synergy also suggest that.

By the way, I wonder who is the best First seat Elite Ten amongst the three in the cover (in their years at school ofc) ??? Both Shinomiya and Tsukasa pursue French cuisine so I'm curious.

Anyway, Megumi's determined face was so cute.

Looking at the page where the 3rd bout's matchups are being introduced makes us forget that this is a cooking manga. Takumi and Eizan's faces make it look like that their match will be the most intense.

Megumi is like the 3rd most important character in the series, so I guess it's fair that she gets the honor of defeating the enemy team's 3rd strongest. Souma being the main character will probably be the one to defeat Tsukasa who is the strongest enemy, and Erina being the 2nd most important character will be the one to defeat Rindou who is the 2nd strongest enemy.

Let's face it, it'd take a godly miracle for Eizan to actually win at this point, and he got Takumi, who finally have a match after his lose to Subaru which kill every single little miracle he got left

I actually want to see a match between a graduate elite 10 vs the first or second seat. The skill of these elite 10 members are often praised to no end,but I actually want to see the gap in skill between graduates and students.

After what happened with Souma, does anyone actually take Eizan seriously anymore?

Anyway, thanks for telling us where the ranking came from. So is it an official fanbook, or is it official?
Not really sure how they made the rankings but the elite 10's rank seems decent in it but the rebels ranking in it is questionable.

That book is unofficial fanbook. Someone probably needs to buy it and confirm the info coming from there to be sure. Though the date of that book getting released and the info about that rank indeed fits perfectly.

If Takumi was against Saitou then Takumi would have lost. But it's our man Eizan lol. The master of face shift and laughter. He 's already showing his funny side from the get go when the host girl was introducing hm.

True. Wanna personally see Shinomiya vs Tsukasa if that's the case.

Is this still a cooking manga?

The Takumi vs Eizan match is already decided from the moment the later can't just shut his mouth and repeat over and over that he's out for Soma's blood. There won't be a rematch and you know that.

Eizan is done. Souma already beat him so no need to have a rematch. It's down to Takumi to hammer the nail in his coffin.

On the other hand I don't think this is going to be a 3-0 for the Rebels. Because if that were to happen, Central would be left with only Tsukasa and Rindou.

I think Megumi will come close, but she still is going to lose, but at least she'll earn Momo's respect and her cooking prowess acknowledged by the judges.

I don't think earning a respect meant a something if you are loser. Plus I really doubt all those brainwashed goons will acknowledge Megumi even if she lost gracefully. Urara will certainly hurl more intolerant insults without holding back on Megumi if Megumi lost the match.

I agree with this. I have no issue on who will win between these two. I like Momo and I'm fine if she wins. At least she's not as bad as some of her Elite comrades.

^Now that you mention it, Anne is fond of Megumi, isn't she? She'll probably shut up anyone who belittles her, even if she loses against Momo. Especially if she lost gracefully and really managed to show her worth by having a really close match. Momo might also chime in on it if Megumi manages to gain her respect.

Megumi vs Momo is reasonable if the outcome turn out to Megumi loss, 1 = momo specialty is very skewed in this manga, and absolutely no one in this manga ever shown to have something similar, so the part next is depend on which ingredients got choosen

no one here thinking a draw might happen ?? Momo specialty make it very easy to draw, if Megumi makes soup and momo make cake from the same ingredient, chance are there will be a draw

Since it's three with strong teamwork versus three that seem self reliant, my guess is either a clean sweep for the rebels because of them supporting each other or 2-1 with one as a sacrifice from focusing on helping the other two win. I don't think they'd do the last one, but who knows.

A draw is possible for Megumi and Momo depending on the ingredients chosen, but normally a draw is frowned upon in Shokugekis, right? As for the teamwork thing: it seems that Central's dishes are also complementing each other like a full course meal on each bout (without them having to say anything to each other). They're also using teamwork, it's just not that apparent in their case because they don't communicate.

I actually believe that more with the second bout result with all the third year central members. The first bout more didn't really show that IMO.

You might be right, since it was specifically for the second bout. I guess we'll see.
