I thought that was pretty good overall. Not the kind of show that will leave a lasting impression on me though. Still had some good laughs, and there was actually more diving than I expected based on the comments.

oh so they closed this season with "we vowed to never let Cakey drink again" chapter... not bad
I like how they give us all personal moments between Iori and Chisa, Cakey, and Kouhei in the last episode I really hope season 2 will come There are still lots of wonderful characters that I want to see Thank you for delivering the laugh every week |

While I'm a great fan of the manga, Grand Blue the Anime didn't impress me that much. Mostly because a lot of time it felt like recreation of manga panels with some bare bones animation on top of it.
It's not bad, but I preffer the manga quite a bit to it. What's worse is that I can't put my finger on my dislike... maybe some of the jokes that can work in three panels, here take too much time to set up and so loose the impact... which might be the thing, I think they didn't do enough to actually ADAPT it to the anime format.

Not an idiom I'd use here. Each one of them would walk over the corpse of their "friends" if it meant getting laid and would destroy the ones who try to get laid at the same time. It's them over everyone else. It'd be better for all of them if they helped each other, but they're too rotten for that.
