Manga 'Slow Start' (from Manga Time Kirara) is getting an anime adaptation. Currently has 1 volume and is ongoing.

Plot Summary

The story centers around 16-year-old Hana Ichinose, who unbeknownst to her classmates, was a year late in enrolling into high school. Although it may not seem like a big deal, it is a big deal to her. She wants to catch up with everyone else someday.

Kamuri reminds me both of Chino Kafuu and Renge Miyauchi; no surprises here, since she's voiced by Maria Naganawa, who provided Kanna's voice in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. Slow Start may have started slowly, but this works to the anime's favour; I'm looking forwards to where this one goes.

There's just one uniform, some of the girls are just wearing cardigans on top of it. There appear to be several colors of school-approved cardigans, so you can see dark-blue, beige, pink, and purple ones all in that class, along with people who are just wearing the uniform without anything on top.

When they said the MC was a first year high school student, I went “eh?!” Then the older lady said she could pass for a middle school student... Me: “I’m sorry I thought she was an elementary school student.”
Then again the appearance of most of these characters look ridiculously young, in fact I can’t believe this series takes place during high school..I could believe it if was a middle school setting though.

This was ok, didn't blow me away but was enjoyable enough.

Cute enough and good characters with different personalities.

They have they same VA as Kanna from Kobayashi Dragon Maid playing another loli who's eyes & hair is similar to Kanna.

SUPER KAWAII (>°w°)> missing a better description, well, the show kinda ignores their own synopsis but was weak for starters so don't matter.

Eiko is best girl for me in just how well she handled Hana in opening up to the group. From noticing how she was uncomfortable and suggested that they only walk to the station to the charms and they should walk together. She also keeps Hana into the conversation whenever it felt like Hana was started to be left out. I can see why Kamu and Tama are attracted to her.

Here I thought the Moe fad has finally died off but then this series comes along. I dropped it because after the fad I lost interest in those shows and I don't see it coming back.

Watched ep. 1 today. Without any further doubt... the cuteness factor and the happy environment got me. Will be following this.

I hope she won't get type-cast in these roles. Kanna was one of my favorite characters in 2017; Kamuri seems almost a clone.

Even the girls in Hidamari Sketch were rendered more plausibly as high school girls than this crew.
