I think they're following the game's calendar

the new trailer showed up last night which was April 29th.

in the game, if you've saved Yukiko before that date. MC will check on the tv again on that date, but nothing will show up since Yukiko has been saved.
just like what we saw on the latest trailer

I quite enjoyed the Persona anime though it took me a while to get the story. Does this have anything to do with that anime? will we have the same characters?

^^ You're referring to Persona trinity soul, right?

Most likely it'll have nothing to do with that series besides the concept of Personas. This looks like it'll be an adaptation of the game Persona 4.

LMAO@CrimsonCloud, that's quite the way to put it, I remember there was a riot at least at english-speaking media, which are rather phobic about these things, as well as another in certain social minority who feel oppressed about anything

Maybe that's why p3 never got a true adaptation. I find evokers kinda silly. Yes, it's symbolism etc etc. but it's just so over the top.

For some reason, I've always thought Yukiko was the canon love interest. In the storyline cut-scenes, she seems to be paired up to the MC more; e.g. she was the one who cross-dressed him and he ate from her bowl of noodle.
