Manga version of the movie will be serialized in MF Comic Alive monthly magazine. link
Sample for this month Febri And the Newtype magazine will have an interview with Director Satou. Edit: From 2ch posts, it looks like Mikako-shi sang Black Holy with KitaEri during Animelo Summer. Guess I just have to wait for the BD ;_; Edit 2: Tomorrow there should be new information and new visual regarding the movie. An official blog for the movie will be up too. [twitter] It looks like those who went to see the AnoHana movie should already saw the new key visual. Preview on Marika figure from Akibaphotography. link. Thanks to Akiman-shi for the link. Edit 3: New visual... I guess. A teaser video Keywords (hightlighted): Bentenmaru, Superluminal Jump, The Infinity and Beyond, Subspace Turbulence Layer, Flint System; The Seven Golden, Letter of Marque Spoiler for other keywords:

I forgot to mention this, but according to Mikako-shi (in her Lady Go radio program two weeks ago), the dubbing for the movie has completed. This official blog post makes me remember just now :P
Great Mechanix DX 26 (on sale tomorrow) will have an interview with Director Satou. If we're lucky, we'll probably get a glimpse on the movie's mechanic designs. I'll probably will reserve the magazine, considering that Gundam Build Fighter is on the cover page... for the Captain Edit: I might as well take this opportunity to congratulate Japan for the launch of Epsilon. The launch location was Uchinoura Space Center, which was covered in Sasamoto sensei's non-fictional book, Passport to the Universe.

A recent logbook entry on the movie's blog seems to mention something about some information from the 'Mouretsu Pirates Movie Intelligency Agency' being in the most recent issue of 'Monthly Comic Live'. Same entry also says something about certain confidental information not being available (and a joke concerning hackers like Lynn?). The repeat screenings of the series are at Sailing 4. Unfortunately, nothing more than that yet.
Just wondering, is it OK to continue here for the moment or are we going to need to switch over to a movie thread? |

Two years ago the first 5 episodes of the series were premiered at Shinjuku Wald 9, while Director Satou denied any continuation for Nadesico during the backstage interview. A year later Akiman's designs for the movie were revealed at the same venue on almost the same date.
It has been almost a year since then. We have lived long and prosper (I hope ). I wish next week will not disappoint. It's kinda a bummer since there is no indication for live streaming for this year event at Wald 9. My gut feelings tell me that Director Satou is going to merge MoPi's timeline with Nadesico's . It is great for both Director Satou who will enter his 25th year in the industry, while Sasamoto sensei will be in his 30th year of writing next year. p.s. If MoPi is to have a second season, it's probably going to be announced on similar date at the same place.....next year .

MoPi and Mikako-shi's 2ch threads have posters saying that yesterday Akiman twitted that he's going to do the illustration for the jacket cover of the movie theme song which is going to be sung by Mikako-shi.
.... and then Akiman deleted that twit. False alarm I guess and speaking about Akiman, MoPi Heroines return after an absence in the last issue of Febri. This time it features Endou Mami, Marika's true waifu (?) as the official site put it. link

Started watching this show and just finished ep12. It's pretty decent; I'm enjoying it so far. All this piracy biz is making me wanna [insert desire to re-watch any Pirates of the Caribbean movie here] and [insert desire to play ACIII/Black Flag here].
