The character designer is probably one of the Ikeda sisters. Leaning on Shoko just because she is long due for another animation director role.

When Chuunibyou was first announced, I disliked Rikka's character design as well...until Kyoani's digital department does their work. It's just marketing at work here.

High/Low budget doesn't have anything to do with the character designs. It is all about the drawing style.

Please source your leaks or don't bother posting them. What you have is a rumor, which is not even remotely the same thing as an actual confirmation.
Ringo Aoba, in particular, only does porn game adaptations since she's an eroge VA, so...

Not really a leak as such. Those who subscribe to Newtype gets their magazines shipped at about 7th-9th of every month, so they generally get them before the Newsagents put them out for sale.

Having Bunta show up all over this show is really rubing salt in the wound for those of us who loved full metal panic.

That aside the more time passes the more hopeful I am for this show. Putting KyoAni and Gatoh Shinji together hasn't failed me before.
