Aside from a few times early on, I've pretty much given up on 3BP (my win/lose ratio has been an annoying struggle) since I really have had bad luck ever since the event started, no CE drops, getting crit on vital servants too often, abysmal gacha results, etc.
So damage & gourd farming wise, I'm not really doing too hot at all.

For 3BP, if you don't have your own Waver who's leveled in his skills, preferably maxed on 2nd and 3rd skill, you need to bring your friend's Waver, and in that case it's advisable to use a savescumming strat and aim for 2-3 mil damage at least and focus on surviving. Unless you have own single target NP 5-star servant who's at NP2, it is very difficult to own Ibaraki at 6 mil HPs, unless you have a few copies of LB event damage CEs and level the skills of your lesser servants to a significantly high level, and have a bit of luck on your side.
Why 5-star? While free 4-star servants like Shiki do enough respectable damage at NP5 to kill Ibaraki after a few rounds of NP with the right buffs, 4-stars simply do not have enough HPs to survive long enough after one or two bursts of NP from my experience. Why NP2? I have tried with my own NP1 5-stars, I actually still have a very hard time trying to beat Ibaraki if I do not make a savescumming team at the back for insurance, which will cause me to wipe 99% of the time if I go full damage. I can beat it with NP1 Jack due to 2ndary property, but it's still a luck thing, 50/50 at best. I also cannot bring too many 5-stars offensive servants due to cost issue (because the CEs). The only stable configuration that uses my own 5-star is Orion team, since he's at NP2, and my only single target offensive NP2 5-star. All other 5-stars I have that have greater than NP1 are either support or AOE. If you have own leveled Waver, then you can definitely beat BP3@6mil, by using a friend's single target servant with Ushi CE and who's at high NP level alongside your own NP1 5-star AOE or single target, and bring Mashu and 1 low cost servant like Cu or Hassan as savescum filler in the backrank in case you mess up. Mashu to tank the NP as usual. In short, skill-leveled Waver + NP2 single target 5-star, with a 2ndary offense are the requirements for most mortals (who don't specialize in silver and bronze and worship luck goddess) to beat BP3@6mil without relying on good luck. Very bad luck can still screw you but I usually still survive with Hassan, and it's very rare to reach that stage. Otherwise, for majority, it's still possible to savescum 3BP stage for what I observe in other players. |

After dropping the single target archer, I started to use AOE archers NP to clear the hands, I'm surprised it works at 100% success rate in surviving all while dealing good amount of damage. While the hands don't hit hard they do other things like buff and they charged attacks are annoying to deal and do a lot of damage...and stuns/skill seal.
Today's missions completed (20 Million) in 7 runs, also I found out Ibaraki hit only 500-1500 damage per attack if you combine Waver's def buff and Mashu's NP. |

Farming 3BP optimally & consistently is very unlikely for me & usually takes too much time & is a pain so I just went 'meh' & sticked to 2BP.
Constant save scumming does not fun make somethin' something. A shame, but I've made peace with myself that I can't do much this event farming & shop wise.

Yeah, this event seems fun but it's actually not. The thinking part is fun but after overcoming it, I don't feel like fighting the node again. Especially when it doesn't drop plumes and hearts *cough*. I still have onigiri left, and also been letting my BP overflow at times. I did BP3 most of the time, and already at 270 mil and cleared out the shop except monuments and pieces, which are useless to me.

I'd probably rank this event as the second worst after the Dango event. I'm surprised, since I didn't think anything would beat out Saber Wars for my "second worst" slot.
But it still has time to move up a little if, after Day 7, we get some variation or plot twist or something. |

Curse this event to the seven pits of hell.
Still can't beat 3 BP, got down to 990K HP before she killed me off. Worst part is burning through 3 CS. Couldn't beat the last 2 missions of the last portion (no pages or pots for me) Did a YOLO roll, got a Kiyohime CE. Was feeling cautiously optimistic, so did another. Got Kiyohime. At least it's thematically consistent. |
