up to this point the only with romantic development with haru is kuroyukihime, even chiyu seem to be all good with taku, the bodyguard showed no emotion whatsoever, and the loli wanted to hack him(in a not sexual or violent way), so there is not alarm of pimp(not yet at least).

For instance, the many of the cast, including Taku and Kuroyukihime seem to see the loss of the ability to "accelerate" as equivalent to death.

Changed the last part, 1.8 seconds = 30 minutes was mentioned in the anime.
KYH did say that Brain Burst gives incredible benefits in real life, like for more time for examinations (they are students) or Taku's kendo championship, of course no one wants to give those up.

Actually, who told KYH that Haru likes ponytails in episode 6? Doubt it was Chiyu or Taku, as they are not that friendly with each other.

Taku used to be one that was addicted to it. However, once the arc was over, he was even willing to give up his Burst Linking abilities. He saw the dangers of it, and wanted to turn over a new leaf.

Hopefully, her role will expand again. I heard some people on the thread say that she will return later on, but if she will make it back by the end of the series will yet to be determined. The intro is probably only shown for the first half of the series, with a probable new intro when the second cour starts.

Not sure I'd quite consider it a fate as bad as/ worse than death, then again, I've never been addicted to something (as in a true addiction, like a drug).

That said, it would also be interesting if they added a subplot about someone who is not a burst linker, such as someone who is over the maximum age finding out about the Brain Burst program, and instead of disregarding it a fantasy like most people, actually doing an investigation to see if there is any truth to it.
