At least to a person who hasn't read any of the source material, Episode 2 ain't bad, though far from brilliant.

(Frankly, I think the problem with Average is not so much whether you read the adaptation or not, but just that the anime isn't too interesting, and they can't make the characters lovable, and they inserted too many references just for the sake of them.)

But from a complete outsider's perspective, this episode wasn't too bad. Made a lot more sense than the first episode, and the characters are certainly cute. I think I'll enjoy this.
Probably the best approach to take. I can't keep watching myself. SO many great scenes I was looking forward to were skipped in this one episode alone...

I have absolutely no idea what this anime studio is doing. They're fast-forwarding through things at a crazy rate, and showing nothing for it. They've skipped a whole bunch of the best parts of the series, and given us basically nothing worth seeing in exchange. It's not like they're skipping to the exciting parts, because several of the exciting parts are the things they skipped. And it's not like they're focusing on the slice of life and cute parts either, because they skipped most of those too. And many of the parts they did deign to show us are uninteresting and lacking in context.

This may be the most horrific butcher job I've ever seen performed in adapting a popular series to anime form.
I don't know. That's a pretty high bar considering some of the absolutely brutal adaptation jobs we've seen over the years . Although thinking of others that would match would be just painfully depressing so I'll avoid putting much more thought into that...

Of course I can definitely empathize with those that know the source material and feel this way. Don't even want to imagine what they've skipped over in just this one episode.

At least from an outsider's point of view...it was alright. I will say that the handling of episode one and leading into episode 2 was a mess. They give a completely different idea of what is going on in the first episode and don't actually resolve that confusion in episode 2. Ironically if you just skip episode 1 though and start with episode 2 it is fairly straight forward .

ok, i'm a lot confuse now, at first fron the first episode o was thinking which this world was like "SAO isekai, were it was peoples going to a "virtual world" with very advanced ai, but it's turn out it was just a "regular isekai" or at last i think, then here the questions

1- this is a isekai which she is 'forever trapped" in the world or she can go back home whenever she want??? because it was what the first episode make it's looks like, she can free travel between the worlds when puting the vr googles.

2 -its her real body?? or a sort of "avatar", like her realself is in the regular world sleep in the bed while her "soul is reincarnated on this temporary body???, or is a full body transfer and she disappear from real world??

3 -she died in the real world like in many nowadays isekais or she just was transported without have to die???

this serie really have a confuse start to from me and i really feel missing some "start info".

Always read the TOS before taking any weird surveys...?

Might give it another episode but I'm not really feeling much charm from this series... aside from the bear suit its just kind of bland so far.

The thing here is that when you do this, you have to do it right. Look at Bofuri, a lot of people were upset that the anime cut one of its memorable battles, but as someone who watched the anime first then found out about the contents of the fight scene, can understand the reason for the cut as the show only had 12 episodes, and it really didn't bring anything to the main plot.

Pretty much what happened with me when it came to the Xebec version of Negima. All it took was learning about a key moment in the manga and then finding out that the anime cut said moment out that led to the events that caused me to drop that show and focus on the manga instead.

I don't know why this wasn't the first episode. This was much better. People are going to be mighty confused though, since the first episode made it look like she could/will log out.

yeah that is one of the things i got really confuse after this episode, first i was thinking which this was a sort of "SAO" isekai with her mind being placed in a virtual world and she can logout whenever she wants but not i really don't know what to think because now make it's looks like your basic isekai were she got transported and can't leave, really confuse.

That's exactly what I was thinking, how come she could log out from that world in the first episode when in the second episode she appears to be stuck with no log-out button?

That said, I have to say that while this all seems very pleasant, the whole "I'm in a game" genre isn't my thing so depending on how much stuff I wind up watching this season I think I'm going to bail on this one and maybe come back to it later.

enjoyed episode 2 so much! :>

so that's how Yuna received the Bear equipment.

I like how she beat the "goblin". lol

nice, Fina will no longer have to worry about money.

looking forward to next week!

Because she didn't log out in the first episode. They opened with a scene from the future then transitioned back to before she got isekai'd.

Oh yeah, episode 2 takes me back to when those "getting-into-fights-at-the-adventurer's-guild" scenes were so popular in web novels.

Ah...the old days.

episode 3:

being forbidden to hunt, because running out of monsters.

and so funny... forcing a mage to do manual work. lol

sleeping like a bear in a house she created.

those guys with the mage are actually nice people.

Yuna's friendship with Anne is becoming better.

looking forward to next week!

I liked the feeling of this episode - quite heartwarming. Felt for the poor mage who had to accompany Yuna.

That was pretty fun. So Yuna never needs to do any laundry since her clothes, including her underwear, never get dirty nor smell. Why did she take off her panties before putting on the suit though? Is she going commando under there?

The tactics she used against the goblins was pretty ruthless. Goblin Slayer couldn't have done better.

Kuma Bear novel and manga published 2015. Goblin Slayer novel published 2016.

Yuna has killed gobs earlier than Goblin Slayer.

_____________

anyway, on some other things..

the pantsu does not get dirty, so she only needs one pair of underwear. lol

house is necessary, so that Fina would have her own slaughterhouse. Sharing with others at the guild is a problem, since Yuna brings in a lot of monsters.

and Lanz is lucky, he was stopped by Gill. One punch bear would have destroyed him if he tried attacking her. xD

Ok, so this guy with a blond hair is actually nothing special.
In episode 1, I thought he was waiting for someone really special do kill that giant snake.
But it turned out he was just one of those goblins Yuna beat up.

episode 4:

receptionist begs the bear to go to the lord.

surprised, the lord of the town is actually a nice person. Not the villain that Yuna expected. The Goblin King's sword looks like a rare item indeed.

I'm glad Fina's mom is finally healed. Bear wanted daughters as payment? Just kidding. lol

looking forward to next week!

Would I be very mean if I said that I kind of wished that Yuna's last minute "inspiration" did not work? Just ... make it a bit different from Smartphone? Just a bit more gravity?

At least the part with the lord was good and cute.

Bloody Bear? More like Pedobear. She's attracting all the lolis in her vicinity, and amusingly, she's become aware of it.
