Lancer's only real exposure to him were a few minutes in the harbor fight, Caster was too insane to care and think about identities beyond Saber's, which he still got wrong, Berserk isn't capable of coherent thought, and Assassin knew from the start because they were cooperating. |

"If Iskander was the only one to figure out Gilgamesh's true identity without being told explicitly, would that make him the smartest Servant or was he just more knowledgeable in that respect?"
Yeah. As stated above, he was the only one who really approached things like a (somewhat haphazard) military campaign. Additionally, dying in Babylonia may have made a slight impression on him, in life... Then again, Gil figured out who Berserker was (I think that this was not as explicit in the anime, but was clearly stated in the book), so he was obviously able to discern stuff when he set his mind to it. He also had the benefit of the early Assassin intel, but I don't really know as that helped him very much. Last edited by Doria; 2012-07-03 at 15:20. Reason: quotation got cut off |

There were few fights in general, especially for the Masters. Their numbers aren't a good way to measure screen time, which Kiritsugu had plenty of. Sounds like you just wanted more action period. Quote:
"The King of Heroes had allowed for Berserker’s continued existence after discovering his true name in his investigation of Matō Kariya." Obviously said investigation was carried out by the Assassins and their spying on the Masters as per his idea and Kirei's command. How could he have discovered it otherwise when Berserker was always covered in fog when they fought. |

Anywhere between 5~7 will do the trick (causing the Hole in the Sky to materialize). Quote:
A typical magus stands no chance, but someone like Aoko can fight on even ground with a Servant. Spoiler:
