I loved those omake-like segments at the beginning of the episode 7. Also, it was interesting to see Don Valentino's predecessor. (At least that's who I assume the old goat was.)
Cuticle Detective is this season's Turn off your brain and just go with the flow show for me.

I think his unusual size and "mature look" are due to the anime's lame attempt of trying to make the atmosphere more serious than usual, lol. I think that's why Don says "For some reason, I thought I could do it today" after being shot, cause he feels that he can finally shows his cool and villainous side without appearing lame, but too bad his effort is thwarted, haha.

I can't figure out Soumei's plan. Did I miss it completely? Or has it not yet been explained?

I think Lorenzo actually has a badass face, at least that is the impression that I got.
Love this episode, in particular the first half. I love to watch Ogi on his day off, he really is different and a lot more laid-back than his usual self. The second half does not disappoint either. I lost it when Valentino and Lorenzo attempt to "ditch" Inaba and the gang, only to find themselves in the same predicament. I especially LOL at the those repeated scenes.
