Of course Shizuku is adorable, is there any need to ask ?
About this episode. The opening is great, okay. It still suffers from the same problem as the previous one : Too intense for Mahouka. Dat ponytail though. Tatsuya got praised like hell in this episode, wow. That battle between Miyuki and Shizuku was far too short, but now I'm waiting for our fighters type to wreck some mecha.

Seems like Tatsuya gets really small when compared to Juumonji (Like when they first met)
Asuza definitely going to go crazy if she actually knew Tatsuya was Taurus Silver >___> (You gonna get raped) And I repeat this again but... Tatsuya is like the most OP character I have ever seen in all anime series I have watched... |

I found Tatsuya's short biographies of Masaki and George the most informative part of the episode for what it revealed about the larger world. Child geniuses give speeches at formal lectures and are recognized early for their skills. Child soldiers can have enough war experience that they earn nicknames like Crimson Prince. In other words, it's not just Tatsuya who's highly experienced at such a young age. Also Masaki went to war at age 13 which has to have been after the "official" end of the third world war which ep 1 said ended 20 years ago.
Juumonji's leadership skills are impressive. They can even put Tatsuya in his place.

So the entire part with Morisaki having those anti-weed thoughts yet again from last episode was all for nothing. Why bring it up at all?
The hong kong traid's attacks still seems senseless. I hope they're not being handled as derpishly as the terrorist group in the first arc was. The only purpose they have served thus far is being the trigger to get rid of Morisaki from the competition, having Tatsuya compete in his place. I just hope their motivation behind targeting 1st High isn't some utterly stupid reason. It was pretty obvious that Tatsuya was going to compete against the crimson prince (spoilerific OP and all) - especially now that it is revealed that his was also a participant in that war a few years back. Lets see if Tatsuya will have complete dominance once again, against a fellow former child soldier. |
