Part 7-8(Steel Ball Run, JoJolion) take place in a completely different universe from Parts 1-6(the reason why has to do with Part 6 story stuff). Part 7 and 8 are also published in a Seinin magazine.

Btw, the ambulance killing Kira looked weird. Wasnt Jotaro going to kill the merciless like Dio in part 3? It just seemed a bit convenient.

The nurse lady had already ordered the ambulance to back up, Jotaro stopped time, pummeled Kira, time resumed, Kira got knocked back, ambulance crushed his head before Jotaro could do the finishing blow.
