He is a traitor of Armed Librarian. He killed Vizac because Vizac didn't know he has rebelled. He hasn't shown his face before (except in OP).

Her death was related to Mr. Invisible head (by the way, his hair color is light green) and the kid.
Her death is also related to the war.
The kid is related to an Armed Librarian who made him hate the Armed Librarian so much.

I'm more curious about how Noloty actually died. I'm not really sad right now because of her death, but I'm more angered by the fact that it was partially her fault for being the naive and trusting Noloty even on her missions. I guess Enrique was right about saying how Noloty is unfit to become an Armed Librarian like this.

We'll have to see how she actually died in the next episode...

Noloty looks to be killed by that Dullman or whatever guy that stabbed Volken's mentor in the back after she also learns "the truth". It's probably the most logical explanation. Don't know how Dullman himself died though.

If you are talking about the former body,he dies in episode 15 at the end of the Mirepoc arc.No idea if that was his original body or not.

I think Othello simply prepared a body nearby because he knew beforehand what was going to happen,given that everything was staged by the Library and the Governor.

Ireia dies!!! WHYYYYY ;-; Bloody sneak attack, this is all the Church's doing! Grrr...

I'm really surprised the direction the series is turning towards ever since Noloty died, each episode keeps getting better and better. There are still a lot of facts not being told but I think the final chapter of Noloty will be shown next week. Then there is the chaos that the Armed librarians are facing...seems more might drop like flies faced with the endless horde of mind controlled civilians.

It's not certain that Ireia's is dead, though i now know what this show is like, so i'm going to say she is. What a horrible way to go.

I really couldn't help but break into tears during Noloty's scenes, especially seeing as though she's just being tricked. I believe the power that the boy has though, because it explains what's going on at the moment with the attack on Bantorra.

It looks like Noloty will go next week going by the preview. I'm going to break down so badly.

Unless there's a huge revelation and another twist next week, any sympathy I had gained last week for Noloty vanished this week. Always leave it to the doe-eyed idealist to screw things up.

And wtf. A lizard? I mean, I'm used to scratching my head in regards to this series, but wtf?

My initial thought was Noloty is killed, Arkit had developed feelings for her and blames the Librarians, which just compounds his already existing hatred for them. How this works is confusing. Cerulean Death seemed to be a disease spread through that blue liquid, but it's supposed to fill those infected with despair. Arkit supposedly has the ability to impart his hatred to other's souls. All these attacking soldiers seem to be infected with Cerulean Death, but rather than being filled with despair, they seem to be filled with Arkit's hatred. Arkit himself seems to be covered with Cerulean Death liquid (as a lizard, so once again, wtf). How Cerulean Death is spreading so fast, when it seemed from the previous episode to be spread by liquid form, is puzzling to say the least (especially how it spread so fast to the residents of Bantorra Island).

Of course, the simple Noloty died, spurring Arkit's rage scenario is probably too obvious to be right. Throw in whatever this wish of Noloty's was that she wasn't able to make come true, and I'm sure next week will throw another curve ball. Especially since the biggest problem with such a simple scenario is that Arkit was already angry at the Librarians; he hardly needed more to be angry about.

I admit I'm still confused as to how serious the Governor is in his "rebellion" against the Library. Maybe it's all supposed to be an act, but he sure seems to be pushing a bit harder than one might expect from an actor. :/

So, I tried to make a rough picture about Noloty's arc.

I think what the Governor said to Noloty is partially true: He planned to fight back the Armed Librarians, using the hatred of Arkit as a medium. However, to achieve this, he probably make Arkit whole heartedly hate all the Armed Librarians. The existence of Noloty itself made Arkit confused, where the Governor stepped in. Pretending to surrender, he is trying to manipulate Noloty into killing Arkit, which would probably complete the hatred of Arkit. However, probably, Noloty refused to kill Arkit not because she notice the trap but because it is against her faith. So, the Governer probably killed Noloty and made Arkit believe the deed is done by the Armed Librarians, which probably, made the last push to complete the hatred of Arkit.

The key is, probably, the book of Noloty in the hands of Enrique: Noloty probably wanted to save Arkit from his own hatred. At least, which is an impression which I get from the scene, where Enrique tries to show the book to the lizard. Again, the book was handed to Enrique by Lascall, who seems to have his/her/its agenda.

The novel stated that because of his personality and ability, he is the leader of the young Armed Librarians & apprentices. But nothing else.

Cerulean Death is an infectious disease. It infects people by infectant's body fluid and it is 10 days after Noloty's death now. They planned carefully to infect people so it is all over the world now.

The governor requires the purest hatred from Arkit. His original plan is giving info about this disease to the Armed Librarian and they would send someone to kill Arkit. Then he would die with the purest hatred to Armed Librarian. But they sent Noloty to investigate this case that also make his plan fail.

Not every subordinate will obey to the superior. Most of the time, the Armed Librarian can give order to the Shindeki Church. What if some governors become rebellious? This is the case now. He really wants to destroy the Library.

I still don't know what Lascall is thinking.

Actually, someone in the novel is missing here. 2nd class Armed Librarian Bonbo is a fat guy who can control whale and make them fly. He is the specialist of navy and aerial battle which make this battle more spectacular. But the production team decided to make him vanish.
Also, they make Yukizona weaker. In the novel, Yuri and he are not in the Library. They are in an embassy of a country. Just two of them have to face the army of the whole country. And the sibling are able to stall them from attacking the Library.

The whole ep is not exciting enough. The war will be ended in the next arc. And someone will die but this is not the end of this series. The real deal is coming.

I really hope that Enlike will survive somehow.....i mean he is the narrator after all.^^

Also she was more or less caught by surprise.

But, actually i shed no tear to whoever Armed Liberarians will die in the future progress. They all have blood on their hands. If they are ready to kill , they should be ready to die.
