The production got away with everything. In fact, Aqua's plan benefited them in the end since the show became even more popular after he released the video.

I actually surprised that there are decent beautiful-looking people in the group that willing to help Aqua to save Akane.

If this is your typical drama or manga, most of these people wouldn't want to get involved with it as it has nothing to do with them.

Even in Kaguya manga, there are a lot of decent people as well in their school despite it was a school for noble and higher-up when usually in other manga with a setting like this, those noble students are a bunch of stuck up who refuse to associate with someone who is lower than them.

Because she had thought being in a "reality" show meant being herself instead of doing what she was best at: acting as someone else.

Chapter starts with a few panels where Kana once again reiterates how much of a genius method actor Akane is. This is apparently especially significant since Akane's company is filled with talented actors.
Aqua is surprised at Akane's change and just stares at her for a while. Akane comments on how Aqua looks like he's seen a ghost or something. Akane exchanges greetings with the other cast members and in the process acts so much like Ai that the black haired guy straight up asks her if she's alright. Akane's Ai persona ends up captivating the entire crew

Akane thanks Aqua for the video he put together while Memcho and Yuki look on and notice there's something wrong with Aqua's behavior. Memcho decides to test Aqua by asking him to get her pouch for her. Aqua initially refuses but when Akane insists Aqua immediately complies, to which Memcho immediately calls him out for it. Memcho and Yuki keep pushing Aqua and asking him if he likes Akane the way she is now. Aqua gets flustered and runs away from the girls
Memcho and Yuki recognize this as a genuine reaction on Aqua's part and immediately ask Akane if she has any plans for this development. Akane reverts to her normal self when pressured by the others and when asked if she genuinely feels anything for Aqua, she says she does. Memcho and Yuki are hyped for the upcoming developments between Aqua and Akane.

Kana gets jealous and decides to stop watching the show and goes on a tangent about romantic reality shows and says she doesn't want to look Aqua's face for now. Ruby on the other hand recognizes Ai's characteristics in Akane's performance.
Aqua thinks to himself that despite having spent his early childhood years with Ai, after having witnessed Akane's performance he feels like he never knew her at all. Aqua goes over the nature of his relationship with Ai and wonders if he was simply a fan or her child or something more. Kana is walking around on the streets and overhears passerbys talking about the show and how Akane and Aqua seem to have taken the spotlight recently. Said passerbys talk about how the previous season of the show ended with a kiss and wonder if this season will end with a kiss as well. Kana is feeling pretty down from all this talk when Aqua walks up to her and asks if she wants to skip school with him. Kana immediately says yes

That wasn't the reaction I expected from Aqua. Also surprised he invited Kana at the end, poor girl will probably be forced to listen to his "love life", without realizing he's talking about Ai and not Akane.

Kana isn't Ai, and unlike Akane she can't pretend to be Ai either.
