Personally looking forward to seeing Sazabi in there. It's already proven Lancelot will be in there, now how about Guren? All it says is R2... That is no answer.
Online play would be great, never played SRW before, I've heard alot about it though. Now only if they could put Esacaflowne in there. But i'll be out on my own hopefully soon, in the city. So maybe if there is online play, maybe i'll fight some of you guys. Guren Sazabi Lancelot Lambda Gundam Justice That's how it goes with me. Looking forward to it xD |

Been waiting for an chance to play in an game with the mechs in Code Geass for quite some time. For it to be featured in A.C.E is an dream can true especially on the PS3. Going to reserve my copy at play-asia.com once its becomes available. Nice to see Macross in as well.
I still need to import Hokuto Musou. Haven't let since you never know Koei might bring it over to the states. I imported Gundam Musou then it came over, wasted my money.

Wow, I am so shocked! I seriously though ACE 3 was the last in the series, but I always hoped they'd make more of them! Not to mention there's so many good series this time around, I hope it turns out to be the best one yet!
Incidentally, is it just me, or does it seem like some members of the SRW Z team are involved in this? The series list is mostly similar to SRW Z. |

You can't really tell who are the production teams, but one thing you can tell is which are the series that Banpresto now has access to, namely Code Geass and Macross Frontier.
This means that they are ready to include these series in the next SRW. Majority of the series featured in this game does indeed come from SRWZ, this could be because they are popular, which made them decide to release this game.

Ah, that's true as well. You're right, this is a sign that they're ready to include them in the new series (maybe they'll wait one more year or something so that their "three year rule" can be accomplished for Code Geass.) because IIRC, Eureka Seven and Overman King Gainer showed up in ACE 3 before their debut in SRWZ. This just makes me even more excited for the next "big" SRW game.

Looks to me like they learned their lesson from ACE3 and have decided to go for a shorter mech list that will all get story precedency. This isn't SRW after all; these are 3D full-action battles in large fields with dynamic movement as opposed to flatboard strategy game fields with "still figures" performing limited 2D-ish actions, thereby using more disc memory.

@3rd screenshot: What is that behind the Z-01 Lancelot? It has a float unit but it's black. It looks different from the Shinkiro's float system, it's also showing up red on the map...
Lancelot, Destiny... and Nu. Great, hypocrisy and naive ideology is going to be abundant. I also see Zakus and Sutherlands being fodder.. Well, that's understandable. Though it takes four Sutherlands to do what a single Zaku can do. I see plenty of red and gold. None of it being the red and gold I want to see. The slow internet isn't helping either. Is the 5th and 8th screenshot down? Can't load them. Judging from how large scale the battlefields look, and the graphics overall... This will probably eat up a good deal of memory. That is excluding the high-CG cutscenes and regular cutscenes. Let's hope the gameplay isn't laggy. The crosshairs seem pretty nifty, though I have prior experience of them getting in my way more then helping. The repetoire shouldn't be too big, because then it would probably just get too big, too annoying, and too hectic. Trying to fit everything in there sounds hard enough. I can already see it. Gundams and Arm Slaves going to war with the Knightmare Frame side because they want the Sakuradite. Sounds plausible to me at least. |

The lance tells me its a flying Gloucester, I guess you can just add a float unit to any KMF.
Pic 5 is Orguss and 8 is VF-0A. A.C.E has the best air and space battles, not sure how they can make ground battles as good. Especially since the game emphasises on high speed, which the ground units can't really pull off.

Gloucester? Cool. Though I already know about the Float System thing. Although I still can't tell it's a gloucester... Damn my bad eyesight.
I can see the majority of the Shots being taken during flight of some sort. It is very good in terms of open air/open space battle. It would be sin if they didn't make Lambda or Guren available. Even more so if they add Nu and not Sazabi. They are still developing it, so let's stay positive and hope we get the majority of our favorite mechs... ...Like Guren. |

i want Front Mission too!!! but friggin Squeenix didnt even translate the last series so yah... it'll be a long long time before we ll ever get another FM brought out of japan. They are making a mechwarrior style FM though but i m not keen on that.
Looking at some of the screen shots, the code geass models doesnt seem to be on par with others. Feels like the texture is a bit lacking in details. Hope that get sorted out later on.

The Geass units lack details because of their size and design, they are not really the most detailed mecha around.
They don't have lots of seams, mechanical details, decals and stuff and they can pass it off with their small size. The Gundams are almost 4 times their height with much more surface area needing details and Aquarion is about 10 times, giving lots of room for details.
