Why did they put Irina there? O_o

Things aren't making sense here because of that.

Probably an effort to keep her character relevant in the series so that she seems more like a major character then a one off side character now that her former partner has been promoted to main character status.

So more or less it's just to hold a neon sign over her head that says, "Hey, I'm still important!"

According to the preview she is apparently going to participate in what comes next. It probably actually is to promote her character.

I neeed watch ep 9 again and see if his face looks the same. As he looked much more handsome in ep 9 then 10. I think its the blinding light. All we have to do is picture him covered in the blinding light. Soo it is pretty much and censorship light for his boy face XD. Both overlords and fallen angel look handsome. Head Angel not soo much now. PLis I think his body is also weird as well.

Are the light novels good? Been thinking of reading them just never got around to it.

Plus isn't Irina meant to be a low level church minion? Soo why would she be there and not a high level angel that is powerful enough to defend him?_?

I'm assuming Irina's initial presence can be written as, since she was involved in the Kokiabel incident as part of the church that they brought her there so she could give her version of the report on what happened just like how the Gremory team was there for the same reason.

The only ones he'd need any assistance to defend himself against are those that it wouldn't matter who he brought with him as they'd wipe the floor with said escort.

I can answer that but because it would be considered a major spoil I wont post it here. If you still want to know then just pm me. What I can say is that this was definitely a move by the producers to keep her character relevant. As for the LNs if you want to spoil yourself silly and don't mind the slightly trippy translations then you're golden. Lot's of great action and comedy scenes. And man Michaels character design really did feel a bit weird. I imagined him as more of the the cool onii-san type. His anime face really crimps that image.

Sure. Basically, he'd obliterate anyone but Sirzechs, Leviathan (forget her real name, Sona's sister), Azazel, and Vali with ease. And if a fight broke out and he had to go against them, it wouldn't matter who he had as an escort, as they'd be beyond useless as anything more than a very short meatbag.

Pretty sure he was never shown in the LN. I think swordstriker was more responding to your question about Irina than the rest.

Haha true. Sirzechs Lucifer FTW. He's also a major sis-con though. He called Rias Ria-tan during the school visit ep if you remember. Also Michael doesn't appear in any of the LN illustrations so I was actually looking forward to his appearance in the anime. Sadly they did w/ him what they did w/ Kokabiel - shoddy character designs. I mean cmon blood-shot eyes, fangs and long ears? And now we have a baby faced Michael. I'm guessing Miyama-Zero (the novel illustrator and the one who also did Oda Nobuna no Yabou) isn't really involved in the anime character designs. W/c would be a damn shame.

Yeah, guess so huh? I really like Miyama-Zeros character designs. Ravel is absolutely adorable. Shame he isn't involved in the anime. We could've had cuter girls and more "ikemen" males overall

Well, a pretty good episode, they changed a few things compared to the Light Novels, but I think it was done to make the future events a little more natural.

Although the next episode is probably going to be even better, although I hope that they won't rush the future events too much, due to having only 2 episodes left.

I love his halo.
It just makes Angel's seem so much cooler.

Is Micheal the most powerfull being in this show?

I allways assumed that Angels were stronger than Demons but maybe thats because I watch that tv show Supernatural.

Angel "Light">>>> weakness of Fallen Angel and Devil
Fallen Angel "Light" >>>> Devil (not the weakness of Angel except if the said light is strong)
Devil "Demonic" >>>>> probaly weak point of Angel/Fallen Angel if the said demonic is strong enough to incerate the other 2

That's not really how a "weakness" works. Devils are weak to light, and dragons are weak to dragon slayers. The other two have no known "weakness". Being able to overpower them with attacks stronger than theirs is not a weakness, it's just how battles work.

It really depends on sales of the Blu ray and merchandise (don't think the LN sales going to go up again ).
If they can sell over 10k on blu ray \ DVD they might have a chance for season 3 .
As for the ep the made changes from the LN and i hope it does not mess up the last 2 eps .

^well knowing how DxD is gaining in popularity I'd say depending on how they end this season I'd give it a least a 50% chance or possibly more.

Nah, the novel clearly said it was a female Angel.

On that note: They did not just replace that Angel with irina, they also refused her the right to sit down in that Angel's stead, cause they were sitting too.
