It lived up to all my expectations.. Even with a few cuts here and there, I can't imagine a better execution given the time restraints..

Really good epi, a bit sad cause no red web, but the trolling act was good until the end
Cause i'm not a freaking fan of the vn design i can't complain with the Deen work, same thing for the bgm, HoM was good to listening but not so awesome as always for me
For the story well, finally we return to see the cruel witches and not the annoying smiling and crying ones, cause was really really annoying to see always, but as I have already mentioned, for me this is only the first step for hating Beato
And at the end well, liked Virgilia evil smirk and see Siestas hugging and freakin out together
From what I understand, it's more like a game reset than parallel universes. Each time they play the game, something different happens because that's the nature of a game like chess... no two games will be the same.
Everyone is resettable except the meta-characters (meta-Battler, meta-Beatrice, meta-Virgillia?)
Which is why I didn't really expect Beatrice to die from Eva-Beato's attacks. And I guess this means Beatrice was the one true Endless Witch all along and we all just got trolled?
So the board was reset again, but this time a piece-Ange has been placed on the board? Did Bernkastel pulling her through time-space create a meta-Ange as well? Will she be alongside Battler in the metaverse?
Or am I supposed to not believe in time-travel magic and doubt the existence of Agne first of all.

Ange stayed home in 1986, and thus was not present in Rokkenjima. Because of this, she is not a "piece" in the sense you're talking about. You could say she's a "piece" of Bernkastel's, but not a piece on the game board.
Basically, the people on Rokkenjima are separated from the real world and are "reset" as someone said each time a new game starts. Those are the "pieces."
It's not totally clear how the outside world is related to what's going on in Rokkenjima (whether it's all just one world or multiple worlds for each instance of the game) but what is known is that the Ange you see in this episode is an element from outside of the game-board. It should become clearer as more episodes progress.

There were several instances in the game where Battler or Beato yelled, "Ushiromiya Evaaaaaaa!!!" and I was looking forward to hearing them voiced! Well, you can't get everything, I guess.
All in all, a fine episode, despite various cuts and all. They at least did that blunt transition from the light of truth to Crazy!Eva well, so I'm happy. That scene still scares me even after so many replays.

Yeah I kinda firgured it'd all be an act. She was being way too weird, surprised Battler seriously fell for it. Guess he just likes that kinda girl, eh?
Buuut..... I'm really bothered with how they left things with Nanjo's death. If Eva really was the killer as the ending implied that would mean Beato-Eva was lying in red on at least one of the things she said. Does that mean the entire premise that the red words are always the truth is incorrect? I suspect it's simply what the individual "believes" is true. So Beatrice (The "Real" One) can delude them into saying what she wants them to by changing their perception. Am I onto something or way off?

The thing about it is..... is there actually any proof Eva killed anyone besides Battler (and at this point she's clearly goddamn nuts)? It's possible that the third arc is meant to mislead into thinking Eva's the culprit, even though she's generally innocent - (possible comparisons to Vera Claythorne go here). And what contradictions in the red truth, as there's a very obvious loophole out of this - someone else (Kyrie, perhaps) killed Nanjo and then died later.
Well, you can't get everything, I guess.
