Too bad Iron Man was delayed to this autumn.
Heroman: 7/10 Actually this is the only Spring 2010 show I ever watched. Animation quality was good, no surprised it was made by BONES. The American setting actually works, even its not the best part of the show. The only thing that I worried about its length. As for K-On, I was a big fan of the last year's but I want to wait until it ended so I can watch it in one go. Last edited by Socke; 2010-04-24 at 08:55. |

The only series this season that i have been watching is K-on. Was not such a big fan of season 1 since the second half was weak and the manga is better IMO. But have to say K-on!! this season is quite brilliant so far. So....
K-on: 9.5/10 Will update later

Kaichou wa Maid-sama - 9.5/10 Wasn't even on my original list and I rate it higher than my other choices. Cute characters, comedy, romance, it works.
Ichiban ushiro no dai maou - 9/10 Cute characters, comedy, fanservice. Good choice B Gata H - 9/10 very humourous. alot of comedy KissxSis - 8/10 The comedy is there, but the rest of it so far is beyond fanservice. (I think I sound like been there done that) Angel Beats - 9/10 Very interesting

As soon as I heard about K-ON for a 2nd season I knew it was going to be epic and it is. Especially the Yui money slap! 10/10 for that!
Also I've been watching KissxSis...oh my god I love that near hentai fanservice is epic! 8.5/10 Angel Beats = Kanon on steroids with the quality really interesting story though. 9/10 Kaichou wa Maid-Sama is really amazing, I really love the characters. I reminds me of Special-A and that show was win. 9/10 B Gata H Kei now THIS show is funny, not...Nyan-Koi funny but still funny! But what gets me is the darned OP! IT'S SO ADDICTING! 9.1/10 Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou is really awesome! So much fanservice to these animes and I'm loving each and every single one of them. Top of my list too! 9.9/10 WORKING!! Oh man, OH MAN this show makes me laugh so hard. Comedy gold! This restaurant just screams mental institution with some of the employees haha 9.2/10 Senko no Night Raid, what I was waiting for and I like it! It has a old school feel back in the late 1910's and I like that kind of history-esque anime style to it. 8/10 Myoi Neko Overrun, this show is not bad! I like the characters but I already have Angel beats for that. I still love this show and I watch it all the time! 7.5/10 What I watched so far I love! This whole season rocks and is fantastic! This seasons line-up is a solid 8.5/10

Rating Wise: Angel Beats - 10/10 Excellent animation, OP, insert songs, and music in general with a very interesting plot so far. B-Gata H-kei - 9/10, ED needs work Mayoi Neko Overrun - 7/10 better in third episode, would have given 6 barely before. K-ON - 10/10 Animation, Humor, and some depth even can't really ask for more given it's K-ON.

Heroman - 7/10. It's a really nice little show with potential to improve and grow across its run. I understand why the doubters are doubting but I think it may be worth sticking along for the ride.
Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou - 7/10 Lurches wildly between comedy gold and being far too slapdash and undisciplined. When it's good I like it a lot, but it's a show that I expect will be inconsistent throughout its run Angel Beats - 9/10 I'm not familiar with other Key works so this one is a surprise to me. it works on both its comedic and sentimental levels and its a gorgeous looking show with a great premise to boot. I look forward to this one every week B Gata H Kei - 9/10. The season's underdog almost and I noticed that a lot of people had written off before the first episode finished. Poor them because this has consistently been comedy gold. I can't give it the golden ten until we're a few more episodes in but don't have a lot bad to say about it. Working - 8/10 . Pretty fabulous comedy skit show. What it lacks in narrative hooks it makes up in zaniness and energy Giant Killing - 8/10. I feel like I should be rating this lower because it's a sports anime but it's actually pitch perfect story telling with excellent narrative tension and I continually can't wait to find out what happens next Kaichou wa Maid sama - 6.5/10 I'm not feeling this as much as other people. The setup seems fairly classic and there are some nice comedic moments but as yet it hasn't completely delivered for me. I'm enjoying it and want to stick with it and I feel it could take off at any moment Arakawa Under the Bridge - 10/10 The funniest show since Sayanora Zetsubou Sensei. There's not a lot that this show doesn't get spot on perfect |

Also. Whats with this numbering nonsense. Are people today so damn lazy writing actual sentences is too hard? Your posts are meant to be read and produce a signal! Numbers are not words.

Haven't you ever heard of a site called anime-planet? Numbers do not produce a signal? Do you have a bad day or something?

There seemed to be overabundance of "ecchi" shows, if you know what I mean. That fact nonwithstanding, I found this season to be quite satisfying overall, and I found quite a few shows I like a lot.
My list of "Currently Watching" series + comments + ratings: Ichiban Ushirou no Daimaou - Awesome. Originality is questionable but the fun is not. One of my favorites of this season. 9/10 Working!! - Very funny show. I can't wait to see what odd stuff is gonna happen next. 7/10 Giant Killing - While the characters aren't quite as lovable as other sports series (e.g. Cross Game), it's still enjoyable to watch. 7/10 Hetalia Axis Powers (3rd season) - I love Hetalia. The episodes are short and sweet, and always full of hidden subtext. Or just plain funny. 10/10 B Gata H Kei - El. Oh. El. I just don't know what to say about this series. I really don't. It's just hilarious, and if you like romance with a ton of ecchi jokes (or are they?) thrown in, you'll love it too. 8/10 Hakuoki Shinsengumi Kitan - While a tad bishounen/bishoujo/whatever for my tastes, thus far thoroughly enjoyable period drama. Also a favorite new series. 9/10 Mayoi Neko Overrun! - I like it. I will definitely follow it. It's a kinda weird but lovable show. 7/10 KissXSis - They tuned down the smut from the manga a bit, probably a good thing for this anime, given the borderline-incestual content. Not one of the better shows in my estimation. Still funny, though, assuming you can get past the obvious squick factor. 6/10 Ikki Tousen Xtreme Xecutor - I've always loved Ikki Tousen, and I will continue to do so. While I have a few caviats about this show overall, so far it's a very fun (if very, VERY ecchi) show. 9/10 Want to see: Iron Man House of Five Leaves Heroman Angle Beats Kaichou wa Maid-sama ... those will have to wait until school is over. Overall Rating: 8/10 > Yes, I know, a pretty high rating. It's just that I've found several series I've really enjoyed, and after a few too many disappointing series last year, these good QUALITY new series have given me new faith in anime.

I've also heard of 2chan and a lot of porn sites, what difference does it make? You can go to sites like http://myanimelist.net/ and enjoy the 1001 options to rate it. This thread is a variant to the usual [Season] [Year] Anime Review Thread: Post Your Opinion and Grade, only it throws "opinion" and "grading" out the window in favor of a 1 to 10 rate nonsense system. And my mood (you seem to be concerned with) has nothing to do with it. I've always been against using something like "7/10" instead of going the last 2cm and use the actual word describing your feelings, such as "Awful". Your opinion gets a rating of 12,24325.4235.

Im watching K-on!!, and must say that is pretty good. Yui antics are hilarious as always. I can only ask for more screentime for Mio and Ui. And about rating, for the first 3 episodes, 9.5/10.
Probably will try Angels Beat too. Later. The rest of the season doesnt catch my interest.

My Watch List with Ratings and Statuses
K-ON!! Status: Actively watching Rating: 9/10 Comments: Way more fun and interesting than the first season of the show. I'm definitely on board for this one for the full ride. Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Tairan Status: Actively watching Rating: 7/10 Comments: Fun and fanservicey, if lacking in true content. Still, I'm finding it entertaining. Heroman Status: Actively watching Rating: 8/10 Comments: Way more fun to watch than I thought it'd be. Far from being a serious mecha show, but it's got great animation, action, music and sound. Apparently BONES + Stan Lee = win. Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan Status: Dropped Rating: 6/10 Comments: I gave this series 3 episodes to grab me and it failed. Good character designs can't make up for the lack of depth in the characters, the dialogue-heavy scenes and the utterly transparent plot.

The difference is: rating "currently watching anime" is within the system of animeplanet community, like anonymous users posting for 2chans or porn for porn sites. Call all of them retard, will you? Who care if you are against it or not. I personally do not found words alone helpful in analyzing any subject. However people can uses words, numbers, words+ numbers, it's all up to them. Who are you here to barge in and decide which is nonsense? Also 12,24325.4235/? Anyway, back to the topic. Watching Angels Beat and found it's quite outstanding so far. The plots, the characters, story development are all done unexpectedly well. Not at the level of masterpiece but definitely a 'must-watch' of the season. Angel Beats 10/10
