An evil cliffhanger as always...and what a shock to see Ren get into this state when his usual character is considered ~"unshakable".

I guess it is extremely hard for him since he lacks "love" which probably is a case for Kyouko to solve...maybe the president will force those two together so that Ren's feelings would grow.

Asides from the drama it was still nice to see the usual comedy, like how Kyouko cracked the floor

Not surprisingly now that she has shown her stuff noone is daring to tease her anymore and its great that the Mizuki actor isn't turning out to be some jealous bitch...finally a mature actor

Wow, seeing Tsuruga struggling sure is is surprising since he's been mister perfect since the beginning of the series. Can't wait to see how he overcomes this.

Since I haven't read the manga at all, I'm very curious to see what THAT event that everyone mentions is going to be. I'm getting my hopes up, and I hope I won't be disappointed

But seriously you should read the manga! Though the anime has been faithful, there are parts where you fell they have rushed it too much. Also the intensity of some parts (like the mio acting test) did not quite level up to the manga...

I am thouroughly looking forward to that scene...

When I read THAT scene in the manga, to me it felt sorta awkward. HOWEVER, now that I "know" the characters more, I think it will be fun to see in anime form. I hope it delivers for those who don't know what's coming. ^^

By THAT scene we're talking about Kyoko helping Ren get Katsuki, right? So my question is...did THAT scene come before or after "Bo" helping Ren the 2nd time?

I've read all that Viz has translated so far (v17), but many here are following the scanlations and not (just[?]) the licensed translation, and I want to stay away from spoilers from future volumes.

If there is any justice in anime land we will get this scene if i dont get this scene i might have to break out the torches and my trusty pickfork i have not had to do that in while.

The scene is too good not to be animated i loved it in the manga.

Okay, I looked it up myself.

Luthien is right, THAT scene is chapter 71. To get it in context, you'd want to read the last few pages of ch. 70. This is the part I thought was a little awkward in the manga, but it'll still be fun to see. It's just a little fanservice-y IMHO, but everything the mangaka does is for a reason. So it's definitely plausible, and it all ends up making sense.

The OTHER scene I was wondering about (I was wondering which came first--THAT scene or the OTHER scene, LOL) starts end of chapter 63. But the real goodness comes in ch. 64-65. I think I'm looking forward to this part the most.

So maybe that will help people know if they want to click my spoiler or not. Though I now have the answer I was looking for.

So, the series is only going to 25 episodes? Meaning either we're going to miss That scene, or the test afterwards. I can't imagine being able to get both of them in one episode, though I suppose its possible. Doing so would certainly involve some skipping. The animators have done such an outstanding job on this story, that I'm actually excited for once to see how an anime ends. Definitely looking forward to seeing how they manage to finish this up.

Ep 24 is out there. One to go... It went more or less as I expected...

Basically, Ren has been told by Ogata to take a break for a few days until he can figure out how to act Katsuki again - in the meantime, they're filming the scenes without Katsuki. Lory drops by and finds out (as he expected) that Ren can't handle Katsuki - Lory tells Ogata that if Ren can't figure it out in 3 days that he should fire Ren!

Meanwhile, Shou's imagination is running wild about Kyouko and Ren

Kyouko's rather depressed because she'd like to help Ren but knows that his pride wouldn't allow it, so it's better to not even try. After a shoot of Kimagure Rock, she happens to come across Ren, so gloomy it's like there's a black hole. She runs away before he notices but remembers how in a similar situation that Ren tried to solve the problem with he missing word in the script by himself. Dressed as Bo, Kyouko goes to force her help on Ren

Unfortunately, she finds out that Ren's understanding of real love is almost zero. Yep, though Shou destroyed Kyouko's heart, she's better than Ren in this area - she can still use to memories to try to help Ren. But she starts to fear that Ren's a lost cause when it comes to love. She eventually comes up with something basic enough that Ren has experienced it - as Kyouko explains, it's the beginnings of love And it turns out, Ren's experience of it was Kyouko (unfortunately, they didn't play "Ode to Joy" like the manga suggests)

And that's were the ep ends.

They haven't quite gotten to my favourite part of the scene the episode ends on, so I won't comment on it further.

The preview is also rather ambiguous. I think I can recognise one or two scenes, but that's about it. If they are going to do THAT scene (and I think think it's entirely possible) they're not blatantly giving it away.

All hail the power of Bo . That initial meeting earlier in the series really was critical for many things. Approaching as Kyouko would make this tough for a few reasons. Especially considering how the episode starts to finish off . Just have to love Kyouko helping to foster Ren's feelings for her without even knowing. But it's not going to be easy considering how absolutely clueless the man is about love. Really isn't a surprise he couldn't handle the complex feelings being asked of him in that role.

Kyouko is gold for comedy though. Have to love her imagining the scenes of trying to talk to Ren about his problem. Of course the universe has to pay her back by having her find Ren right after acting like that. Maybe it helped them both out. Since Kyouko wanted a way to approach Ren and think on some level Ren hoped to run into Bo.

Really enjoyed Ren snapping and trying to rip Bo's head off . He really just lost it for a moment there. Though suppose many would if they thought their serious issues were falling on deaf ears.

A pretty good episode. I've managed to avoid finding out what THAT scene is. But after all the mentioning it better be incredible .

Things have been a bit of a minefield lately I think, for you and FlareKnight (and others). Sorry about that.

I think if they were going to go for an anime original ending, they would have diverged from the manga already. Instead, they're sticking to the core of the plot quite faithfully (even if we've lost a bunch of fun scenes). I did think that one or two lines did indicate they were going to stick to the manga solution.
