EDIT: But I'm looking at that images and cropping out the subs would leave a terribly small image. But I'll give it a try nonetheless anyawyas. Need something to keep me busy.

Hi,
First off I am new to this forum so please tell me if I am doing something wrong.

OK, I am in the learning process of making gifs. I have ImageReady and PhotoShop 7.0. (I still don't understand everything about these programs but I guess I will have to get some reading material so I can learn.) I actually made a gif once. However, I want to know is there a certain program that ya'll use to capture the pictures off the video feed or do you capture the pictures manually?

When I made my "trial gif" I used to capture pictures was the program PowerDVD with the picture capture feature. I noticed that I was not reacting fast enough or the computer would not respond fast enough to get the pictures that I wanted. So that is the reason why I am asking for advice.

Well thanks for reading this post and any advice that you give me.

Most of us use Virtual Dub to capture the pictures; I'm pretty sure it has a video feed option that takes all the screencaps of a given time sequence on its own, but I usually do it manually (move 1 frame forever, copy via [Ctrl] + [1], paste it in ImageReady, repeat); if the sequence has that too frames to cap then it probably wouldn't be worth doing. ^_^;;

Does anyone have “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha”?

I was hoping to get one of two very cute ones from episode 4 (the one with the big cat).

100x100 (or 85x85). No real size restrictions as these will be for my family forum (but preferably less the a GB

).
