Yup, basically the only thing that is confirmed for now is this new OVA included with the BD-Box (and no word yet on if it'll be sold separately for those who already bought the show in the first place). It's always possible that there may be more... but nothing else confirmed for now.

Timeline wise, I hope the OVA takes place after Kaito and Ichika have already become a couple. I doubt it'll be set after the series, though it would be extremely interesting to watch if it was

The extreme optimist in me would hope that, potentially, the OVA carries an actual season 2 announcement or alternatively an announcement that Nagai and Kuroda are working on a new installment of the "Please!" franchise

Loved this series, so I'm definitely looking forward to this, but ... it probably means more suffering for Kanna :/

Just finished watched this series and really enjoyed it.

I think the aspect that deserves most praise is the romance development. It’s really a breath of fresh air to see the main characters confessing their feelings at the middle of the story thus starting a real relationship sooner. The side characters deserves some praise as well, because all of them face their feelings and later deal with them wisely, showing a mature attitude when they decide to remain friends despite hurting themselves.

On the flip side, the whole alien/MIB aspect is purely ridiculous. The way that the entire cast reacted when Itsuka revealed that she is an alien is totally unbelievable. Anyone would have at least freaked out a little after seeing an alien right in front of them. Also, there is no way that space mokona could pass off as an earthling pet. But all of those things exists only as a background for character development so I am not going to bash the entire show for fantasying that much; it is an anime after all.

IMHO, the only let down was the ending itself. I mean, it gave us a nice sense of closure and all but they could have shown the main couple reunited, instead of only giving us a hint that Ichika returned at the end of the film. But I heard that an ova is coming soon and maybe they can fix things up.

Actually, there are. And as a whole it felt more like a re-visitation of all the characters (and the series as a whole) mixed together with some possible future teasing.

Actually, I had forgotten how much of an lol troll Lemon was....

Well, for myself I enjoyed it.

Yes, it was definitely enjoyable, but didn't bring anything new to the table, except maybe for a bit of interesting chemistry between Mio and Tetsuro. I sometimes feel like these two should have been the main focus, they really are an interesting and touching couple.
Anyway, I suppose you can't expect lots of character development with only 20 mins of material.
It felt more like a treat to those who enjoyed the series and the characters wanting to spend a little more time around them.

Great visuals, and superb music, especially the ED.

The OVA was good, re-visiting the crew, showing how things have gone, including how Remon got the video of the group when everyone had passed out. They kept teasing about 'another reel' and seeing the next part of the story, so they're heavily hinting something might be coming, but very vaguely. I enjoyed it, and I can wait.

Well that was fun, and if it did nothing else reminded me how much I loved that show and how I should watch it again real soon now.
A nice nostalgic look-back at the characters and one hell of a sequel hook which I really hope we hear more about in the near future.
