Sadly, the S-Crafts might've been toned down.
Spoiler for disappointment:

In fairness, this is basically the other half of Sen 3 Falcom couldn't finished on time and not a true sequel. I think at this point spend that many resources on this and wanted to move on.

Yeah,
Spoiler:

At the same time, I feel like I was really satisfied with what we got. And I'm really curious as to how freaking long Sen III would have been had they made it originally like they wanted.

Sigh, two more years or so until we get the next arc wherever it may be... while I'd expect Calvard ... we might get another one of those surprise arcs like how we got Crossbell before Erebonia (although they sorta foreshadowed us getting Crossbell back in Sky third)

As I said, I didn't listen to EVERY track of the OST.
For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo1yMHutXQM is quite nice
and the last dungeon theme 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot9y2JSREH4 sounds really great.

Some OST tracks (not restricted to Sen 4 of course) have - for example - a good start but the other music section, before the "good part" gets repeated, is just dabbling along.

Sorry if that sounds strange-ish . The second youtube link in my post sounds catchy and good through and through

So, a friend lent be his PS4 and I finally could play Sen III.
It was really fun to play!
Though, being lent to me, I played at a crazy pace (Did it in two weekends), so I'm kinda overloaded I guess.

Really want to play IV now. Will have to wait for me to buy the game and a PS4, though.

Special mention to Ash, before starting the game I thought I wouldn't like him, in the end I loved him.

If you dont mind answering can you read Japanese if not how much of the game were you able to understand and were you still able to enjoy it

^I can read Japanese, though the game has some uncommon kanji, so had to search them when the context didn't help enough.

Wouldn't recommend to play the game without knowing Japanese, but I know some persons from the Falcom discord who did and still enjoyed the game. Depends on the person, I guess.

Didn't use it, so don't know how good it is, but there is a spreadsheet translation for III. Though, if it's the same person who did Zero and Ao, it must be pretty meh...

Hey, you guys are mean. NISA is a company, not a translator. Perhaps they hired new translators, like the ones who left XSEED a few months ago... Who knows.

Not that I care, as I'll start Sen4 probably next week.

EDIT: Actually it seems it was said that most of the staff are guys from XSEED, and the translator will be Varion, the one who translated the previous games.

That are only rumors. Also, mean? How long you think they're on market? How much do you know about them? Even if rumor about translator is true then it still will be still NISA. You can expect new bugs, changes to names, terminology etc, adding memes and unplayable PC port if it ever come.

More than a rumor:
Quote:
We recently had the opportunity to visit NIS America's offices in LA, where we got the chance to get a look at some of their upcoming games - including a brief teaser for Trails of Cold Steel III. While more information regarding the localization will be revealed during the company's PAX South panel on Friday, we were told that players should expect news regarding who will be helming the title's translation, with an emphasis on NISA bringing aboard talent that already has experience with the series, to "help contextualize, translate and localize the title".

The release doesn't appear to be rushed at this point, which is as good a sign as any. That being said, we're as much in the dark as anyone else when it comes to the specifics of the translation - so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for NISA's panel tomorrow for more details.

Serious talk, how much of a butchered localization can we expect from NIS? Their track record is bad.............quite bad.

I honestly don't like how XSEED didn't get to localize the rest of Cold Steel Series after all the care and effort they put in previous games.

They've had more than enough time to announce something if they were going to do it. It's looking like it's this or nothing.

Considering NIS already messed up their hashtag with "Trails", i rather have XSEED releasing this another 2 years later tbh.

^So you're godly enough to never do typo?

You guys are salty as hell. You can have the same staff as the one who did the localisation in XSEED, but just because it's NISA you don't even care anymore...

^I am worried because of their shitty track record and their glorious takeover (with power of friendship and money) with a typo of the games name tbh............

Not having a pc version announced is just more annoying.
