So, last week, in less than five minutes, Akari puts Sophie in a suitcase, dresses her up while she's still mostly asleep and drags her to a place that puts her under great stress. I wanted the series to get more daring, but I wasn't expecting a doujin plot to pop up.

Meanwhile, this week, we find out Akari sleeps with Sophie at any chance given, will gladly stare at her in the tub, and already got a maid outfit for her. This girl

Being a kidnapper doesn't mean you suck at making clothes.

Akari works fast in getting what she wants

Watched episode 6:

A little late in watchin. Some bonding time for the girls shopping together. Natsuki-chan really look beautiful in that yellow dress!

Funny when Sophie try to impress by trying to dress like a real vampire with hat. Well, natural is always better of course.

Clearly every true connoisseur would have one.

Sophie going through her stuff was a treat for us old folks. I love that she has a newspaper from the moon landing. I was four years old when that happened, and I still remember it.

Also LOL at Akari and Hinata not being able to imagine life without cell phones. I have two teenage nieces who are the same way.

Watched episode 11:

Akari getting closer to Sophie. The vampires here are so nice, taking care of sick friend.. although putting a "ceiling" on Akari didn't work too well.

Why throw away Cactuar?! that's a collector's item.

Nice reference to pagers too. ^^

Finished episode 12/series' finale today.

It was a fine show overall. Ellie remains my favorite character from start to finish for her cunning personality and often showing her "vampiric tendencies". Personally, I also kinda like seeing Sophie's hair short like that. Heh, cute little montage at the end too.

Going to miss these girls.

Watched episode 12:

Although the scene was later made comical, it's shown that Sophie and Elly respect Akari as their friend, not treat her like food by sucking blood even when they are starving hard.

Beautiful scene at the forest where Sophie "met" Akari-chan once again. They have indeed become close.

A solid 8/10.
