Btw not to be a downer, I think rewrite looks great, but does anyone else find that school uniform actually rediciulous? Not just in terms of realism, but it's just so distracting, at first glance I thought this was a game about magical girls and princesses (transsssform!), I have nothing against pink but does it have to be so... big and dressy like?

I know. They seem kinda poofy for school uniforms. I though uniforms were supposed to be practical to move in?

But then again, the short-skirted "winter" uniform in Kanon was pretty ridiculous too.

Is this a summer or winter uniform?

If that's the summer uniform, I can only imagine the winter uniform would be more or less a 5m^2 cube of solid fabric and bubble wrap.

The uniform is taken from Hinoue's designs from her various doujinshi. She likes poofy dresses, so she made her uniforms her fantasy uniforms (no one complained b/c it was doujin). Then Rewrite adopted them.

I didn't go through the whole thing yet, but I'm guessing that's the whole script of the demo.

So btw, I was only asking for the rewrite demo download link, which I of course assumed was a free download like almost all demo's. I don't do piracy. It was a bit dramatic to remove the post and send me a warning

If it runs the same as Clannad and Little Busters all you have to do is add the asian characters to your computer which takes about a second. Do you have to do something special for Rewrite?

Yeah, there's a file or some patch to allow you to play Rewrite on a non-Japanese OS.

they seem pretty practical to move in, i find poofy dresses very comfortable.
what i find impractical is that it seem to expensive for an uniform. forget the fact no school would approve it because it's too... dressy?

anyway i love this uniform, but it doesn't look like uniform at all, more like a lolita variation on an uniform with a hint of mahou shoujo or something.
than again who cares about realism, as long as it's pretty.

btw, wasn't there a translation project of the demo? i'm sure i heard about it but now i can't find it.

I'd like to point out that the assembla space that people keep linking to is out of date and is no longer used by anyone. The demo translation itself, however, is still being worked on, but progress is very slow. The translator is still looking for more translators to help translate the demo.

I also thought it would be expensive to buy, even more so for the future cosplays when the game is released

Okay I just recieved the demo disc from my friend but my Japanese is not advance enough to read it VN. I know people posted some out of date links but does anyone know if there's an ongoing translation for the english patch?
