Mikoto is in elementary school and Touma is also in elementary school, just 2 years above her. Mikoto still believes in Santa and when she is in Academy city, she gets a christmas present, but Touma with his misfortune destroys her present (assume they are in the same elementary school) and then Mikoto goes ballistic and shocks him. They both lose their memories a while later. Years later Mikoto still has the urge to shock-slap Kamijou Touma. How's that?

Hmm born from Omega's idea.
What if... Touma was running away from some delinquents. Mikoto sees and decides to be a good samaritan that day. After frying the delinquents to a crisp, she confronts Touma on his gutlessness. Touma asks about the delinquents and she explains what she did. Touma just groans which mikoto doesn't appreciate as a thank you. Touma whines that he had just saved those delinquents from messing with one level 5 when another shows up and beats the tar out of them anyway. Misaka asks who that level 5 could be. Touma idiotically answers "MENTAL OUT". Cue ballistics |

I don't have a solid idea yet, but since I want to do the crippled Touma thing and just basically go crazy with the world Kamachi has made, I wanted Index to be able to have her own arcs and not just funny moments or cuteness and all. In canon she works as Touma's anchor. Whatever happens, he always goes back to her after all. I want to keep that feeling but somehow still have her partake in events which could mean life and death of one person, making people a little happier.
At some point I imagined Index teaching kids things like folklore charms that bring happiness, but making one detail wrong on purpose of magic and espers can never mix. Kind of like that. I think Kamachi doesn't use Index to solve problems in canon because he is afraid that Index overwhelming potential would make the cases too quick to solve, or its just too hard to write. Whichever the reason, I think the lack of magic is an interesting enough drawback to make her investigations interesting. Touma solves one side of the story, Index solves the other. |

Lol, I would, really I would, but I have my hands full with ACWOD as it is. If I wasn't working on The Darkness Project (what I'm calling the story here at least) I'd have gladly taken a crack at it.
Thanks for the offer though. If you decide to actually write it and need some help, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'll gladly be the Mugino adviser!
*dodges laser beams* KNOCK IT OFF! *Moar lasers!* That aside, Vento as a Kindergarden teacher..... Why does this scream *BAD IDEA! CHILDREN RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!* to me. If anything, you should have Awaki as a kindergarden teacher; or at least have her as an teacher's assistant. Awaki: C-c-c-cute!

Hehehehe....
Well, in a way, Fremea is akin to a living doll in terms of appearance. I can already assume that, if Awaki was to be in that kind of situation, she would need to contain herself not to just pick the little blond up and gush over her until the day was over.
