Do any one out there know of any good school life anime? along the line of School Rumble or GTO

If you haven't enjoyed it already, you can give Azumanga Diaoh a go. The focus is mainly on the lives of the average highschoolers who just know how to have fun. Each episode another chapter of school life, twenty-six episodes spanning these girls' freshman, junior, and senior years. Very funny I must say.

Gakuen Alice and Zero no Tsukaima also have the school setting, but there is a magical twist to these two stories.

The other current series, Ouran Host Club is also school based, but the story here revolves more around the club and their activities.

Edit: Sorry didn't see you wrote SR in the first post. Go watch azumanga daioh its nice and funny especially the teachers. Pani Poni Dash I believe is another school anime.

But if you prefer something with a romance to go along with it, then watch Suzuka, Shuffle!, Canvas 2, Strawberry Panic, Maria sama Ga Miteru (both seasons), Kanon and Da Capo (all seasons)

I definitely agree with all those people who reccommend Azumanga Daioh, as that is one of the best anime titles ever made IMO.

Also you can check out100% Ichigo, High School Girls, Karin, To Heart along with it's sequel To Heart: Remember my memories, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Futakoi

One is not worthy to call oneself an anime fan until one has seen Azumanga Daioh!
PaniPoni Dash and Ouran High School Host Club are very good too, as have been said in a previous post.
