Ah, didn't catch that it was a "unbirthday party," but I'm pretty sure that's another Alice in Wonderland reference (plus, the way that Alice muses that she may or may not know Elliot, the phrasing there sounded very Wonderlandian).
So darn, my Reo=Vannessa theory is wrong, although someone else has pointed out that the Reo=female theory still stands. And, with Alice sort of recognizing Elliot and Elliot remembering the crest I'd say that's even more proof that Glen is starting to overtake him (unless we get a flashback in the next chapter showing that Elliot is familiar with, what looks like to be another!, shadowy group).
Not much else in the chapter, but since it was a rather happy chapter (even Echo was back to normal!) I'm betting on the next one to be a darker one.

Why am I not picturing how or when Elliot knows the crest. But yeah its obvious that Glen is starting to seep through, considering its been hinted at for a while Im glad its back.

uhh.... so Oz might have been swapped? Could Oz be Oscar's son? Their personalities are quite similar. But what does it imply if Oz is not a Vaessalis? That's hardly possible since Jack Vaessalis is in him though! There's still heaps of mysteries behind Oz's background.

Great to see Oz and Elliot striking up a friendship. I hope this friendship can last under the trial to come.

Saw the scanlation last night so not using a spoiler here.
I doubt that Oz could be Oscar's son since he was already talking (and holding an actual conversation, I don't think I've done that with anyone under two) and that's when Oscar's wife had her pregency. I think that Zai did something to Oz (heck, maybe he and the other Baskervilles put Jack into Oz's body so they could dispose of him later) but I still think that Oz is the heir-to-the-Vessalius-Oz.
And I'm going to have to re-read the chapter since I didn't notice any death flags for Oscar at all...

I'm guessing blewin meant Oscar's speech on how happy he is right now, because that's a pretty common death flag. Still i don't think that works this time around. The scene was much stronger then that. Such a beautiful scene. I couldn't stop the tears when Oscar called Oz his son, which is just adorable.

& it's so nice to see Echo again. Even if her expression is pretty .

Didn't notice it the first time around but when she catch's sight of Break it looks like she's about to run off and hide. And, even though I thought Zwei was in control at the time, I guess Echo remembers what happened in Sabrie as well (which is interesting since every story handles split personalities like that differently).

Plus taking a picture of everyone having fun is also a common death flag I dunno I dont see them killing Oscar off.....yet. The backstory about him and his wife was heartbreaking Im glad he does see Oz as his son.

I did notice Echo's reaction to Break this time, weird. Maybe just cuz she remembers him from the poison scene with Vincent. She helped him and got in trouble for it.

After finding out that Oz might have been switched at birth, I'm now wondering if, Oz was switched with Elliot. And that Elliot is the reincarnation of Jack, and Oz is Glen. I know crazy theory!

Id say more that Oz is in the reincarnation of Jack though I dont totally buy into that. Elliot was probably manipulated by Glen, I dont think he's the reincarnation since its been hinted at the Glen isnt really dead.

You're right, silly idea.

I still think that Oz is not what he appears to be, i.e. some kind of reincarnation of Jack. And I find it very appealing to think that Elliot who hates the Vessalius family is actually one, Oz's 'father' races off to rescue Elliot when he goes to Sablier.

The Pandora Hearts anime was based on the manga (for which this is the thread for). And, if you're in the US, the manga is also licensed with volume 2 coming soon.

And again, PH manages to prove that the manga-ka is on more crack than most of the fandom. Oz in a dress, Gil in glasses, and who knows who was the creepiest person of the bunch this time! Not happy that Alice has been side comic relief the past few chapters, but I am glad that Elliot seems to be working out what's going on around the same time Oz & co are, it makes the story seem like it has two sides to it and I like stories that play with that idea.
Also glad to see that Barma knew what was going on all along (and sorta-kinda orchestrating it I suppose?).

This is one of the few fandoms were seriously I question what exactly goes on when this is written/drawn. It has so much crack!

I liked that as well, he's always been interesting and I like how he kinda set Oz up but in a way I didnt expect.

WELL I GOT MY QUESTION ANSWERED!! Break tells Sharon about his eye!! OMG THIS CHAP WAS SO AWESOME ON SO MANY LEVELS!! The ending part though...shit things arent looking good for Elliot. T_T

Lots of Elliot and Leo, and I mean lots. Kind of explains how Leo became Elliots servant. Not enough Break (but there never is for me), apparently he wants to find out the connection btwn Yura and Leo. The headhunter strikes again!

Well darn, there goes the Leo=Vanessa theory and I suppose that debunks the "leo is a girl" theory as well. Possibly anyway.
And someone on the LJ community brought up a theory that Leo is in fact the headhunter. The headhunter didn't start killing until after Leo was introduced to the Nighttray household (since Elliot said that his brothers accepted Leo sooner than his father) and Leo was acting, strange at the end.
But I'm not so sure, something happened in Sabrie (how are we spelling it these days?) to Leo while Elliot was unconscious so my theory is that Leo is actually the reincarnation of Glen. It also seems like Elliot didn't start having those dreams until after Leo came and mentions that the other children in the orphanage were frightened of him until he started playing the piano. (And partially inspired by the "the stranger it it the more likely it is to happen" mantra I have for this series)
And is it just me or does Leo look like Fermet from Baccano to anyone else?
