Did anyone notice that the Opening was spoilering next to everything?

I think every opening always spoilers something 0.o which won't really mean that much if you read the manga but will lead to speculations if you just watch the anime.

Well they did attempt a small filler arc not so long ago, can't say it was that succesful. Hopefully next time they'll do better

Spoiler for Episode 78:

Pacing was pretty decent seeing as though most of the episode was spent of the four adventuring around Edolas, though it's a new world so it's pretty much excepted. The world looks a lot more stunning then it did in the manga thanks to the add of colour.

I've been waiting to see the Edolas Fairy Tail animated for a while now , and boy it did not disappoint. The most hilarious one will always be Gray needing to wear as many clothes as possibly, and being in love with Juvia. Juvia.. ~____~

Oh and Wendy with twintails~

Next weeks episode should be just as good!

How did adding more to Lucy's attire ruin her entrance? Come on. It's expected since we've seen similar changes happen before with this adaptation. You should be used to it by now.

Normal Lucy dresses pretty immodestly in the first place, so how are the scanty clothes supposed to show the change in character? Having full pants is more different from normal Lucy than it was in the manga.

Middle of the episode was exploration filler, but probably a good choice. Dropping them right into Fairy Tail always seemed a bit contrived to me.

I've been lurking around for a while.
And I do enjoy watching Fairy Tail. But it has come to a point of me realizing that it's different in a sense that there isn't actually a main plot. It's more of a goal. And the thing is, anything can happen. But the stuff that happens will still be an aid in the developing story.

One thing though is the fan service and I do think it goes too far sometimes.
I mean it gets hilarious sometimes when something random happens but to see it happen most of the time then it gets kind of boring. I love Fairy Tail, don't get me wrong but I don't want people to see it famous for "the ecchi anime with girls that have big breasts and have random scenes that involve clothes getting ripped off and what not"
I want it to be known for the magic and the guild's friendship, the action scenes. I know that's what the real fans are after, as am I and how the characters will progress. But really, with people nowadays it will seem otherwise.
I know that if it had just the right amount of fanservice it would be alright and even if they had normal breasts I mean, I could care less for that. It's just kind of weird.
I mean even with the later episodes (and the manga chapters) you'll notice that it gets really ecchi. FT should be for everyone to enjoy, I just wish it would stabilize itself.

Well, it IS a typical shōnen anime. Those "fanservice-y" parts did not appear out of nothingness, they were substantial part of the comedy from the beginning, onward. Reducing them for the sake of plot-seriousness would be self-defeating (Cerberus Syndrome?)

Other than the typical "try looking for an anime without hypocrites highlighting trivia to questionable heights, good luck herp derp", I honestly can't see it happening. It's not "porn with plot", it's "plot with porn", which by itself is not a BAD thing, just a... matter of taste.

Throwing out "real fans" is always a touchy subject.

More info on Edoras. Felt bad for Happy in the beginning, guy was so lost and sad. I wonder what his and Charla's mission is. At least we know why htey have wings now.

Edoras was great. Those disguises were great. Not being able to use magic looks like it'll become a problem. Leave it to Natsu to not be hiding. Those guys looked scarred of Happy and Charla, i wonder if they look similar to the king?

Wow they found FT quickly. Liked how everyone's personalities were opposite. Gray's was the best. Lucy with that gritty attitude was great as well. I wonder how they do jobs if they can't use magic either.

Magic can be used, it just can't be used in an "unlimited" way. It's like electricity in the real world.
Not really a spoiler... Edolas is not a "world without magic", its magic is just different in nature.

NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!! A greater lack of clothing was a key point to Edolas Lucy's character. She's like Gray except without the random stripping moments... since she just chooses to wear next to nothing to start the day off with. The Lucy we're used to panics when she loses too much after all but this Lucy... (spoiler )

Maybe she'll have random stripping moments in the anime adaption. Don't know about you all but that would be just epic . Like ep 19 redux

Suppose we'll just have to wait for next week to see how they play this.

Yeah (actually they ruined 2 surprises)... though one could argue it's foreshadowing too.

While most of the ep was filler I agree that it was a very nice choice to see Edolas (and in color really helped). Juvia and gray where the best comedic part of the ep by far... Agreed, I can't wait for next weeks ep to get more jokes with them.

Simple, she's played as a Lucy whom doesn't fret over lack of clothing... think Gray telling Lucy all nonchalant that he was already naked when he showed up in her house and didn't strip in it and acted like that makes a difference. This really makes me hope the anime will give her a stripping fetish like Gray has but for no rhyme or reason other than comedy. This change could kill many future jokes if she's not going to be wearing very little. Some of which could be said to be the best of the arc

Can't say without spoilers... other than there will be many jokes about her indecency and lack of clothing. That's why I'm hoping they give her a gray like stripping fetish.

I too liked the "camouflage" it was filler but very funny and I liked the change over all. I must warn you though (since it's no longer a spoiler) in the manga they just landed in the warehouse then outside was Fairy Tail, so after the wings gave way to arriving there was filler. So in the end they arrived less quick than they should have but I felt in the manga they arrived way to quick... if that makes any sense

I'd say more like gas. Since there are many ways to generate electricity without needing to steal it from a parallel world, such as hydroelectric plants, solar power, wind power, etc. But once all the gas is gone... it's just gone.

Also without going into spoilers, I'm pretty sure there weren't many or any jokes about Edo Lucy's lack of cloths in the manga.

While I would always welcome Lucy stripping, I don't see how it would really add anything here, besides some awesome yet pointless service
I think "having no sense of shame" is what applies best.

Well I will admit I'm a little sad we don't get to see Edo Lucy's juicy thighs here but heh what can you do.

Pretty good ep anyway, Edo FT is quite amusing.

The beginning of this episode was great for me, lots of sympathy for poor Happy...Edo intro was a bit too long, but the FT scenes were hilarious. Can't wait to get into the plot of this arc!
