This is a fist time a serious guy like me watching so many violent movies and unfunny series
made me laugh and smile in this series.

What a nice surprise. Came in knowing nothing about this show, but found it really funny and original. Squid girl is instantly likeable and adorable. Really funny too how the little brother quickly adopted her -ika talk.

Had no plans to watch this but I had to give it a try after I found a clip of the squid girl barfing out ink on the noodles LMAO

Finally watched it! Loved it de geso. So cute de geso. ^_^

Though the squidly insertions in the CR subs were squidding annoying. De geso. Wish they had just done what they did with "dechu" and "nya" in Shugo Chara and just translated the rest of the sentence normally but with the "-de geso" or the "-ika" at the end of the sentence de geso.

But oh well de geso. I guess I'l get used to it-ika.

Oh man, i don't think any show apart from maybe Arakawa has made me laugh so hard and so much in a good awhile

Also did anyone else find it delicously ironic that by "fare-welling" her "fallen comrade", she was in fact polluting the ocean herself and doing the opposite of what she came ashore for, bwahhahaah

Such a god damn likeable girl and show

I came in with zero expectations, but man am I totally loving the relaxing and lighthearted comedy. It feels like Working!! - except with Wagnaria moved onto the beach and a new staff occupying it.

And of course, I'd eat Ika Musume if you know what I mean. <3

Pretty sure it's 'geso'. Fits her character too. Plus it's on the main site. I think their twitter was Geso de geso or something like that.

What a charming show! I don't usually laugh out loud with comedies, but I was very entertained the whole way through. Ika is adorable and I can't wait to see more of this, it's got real potential.

I did like the Baywatch-esque "Lifesaver" introduction with Goro, and how he and Ika teamed up under unlikely circumstances. Ika's birthday was cute, from her imagining of what she thought was going on, to failing to blow out the candles, to the fireworks. The third segment was...something else. Chizuru's crazy, Sanae's crazy, and compared to them, Ika doesn't stand a chance. Though I'm sure it's someone's fetish somewhere.
