Well, since you asked...

I decided to start an online translation project recently for the ZnT novels. So far, I've only got the first chapter done, but I'd gladly accept volunteers. I believe there's another group that said they'd be doing a translation, but I haven't seen or heard anything about that project since they announced it a while back, and I'm impatient.

So, here's what I've got so far:
http://zntnovels.elwiki.com

I'm new, BTW. Yay for being able to offer something right off the bat

Why don't you join up with baka-tsuki, Kawaii Heaven, and Kuroneko for the collaboration project then?
http://project.baka-tsuki.net/index....ro_no_Tsukaima

It's probably the best if every capable person gathered together and worked on it together.

Now, if only I can get rid of all those to-dos on my schedule, then I can work on my part...

I did join. Actually, the collaboration project was my idea.

Which is why I'm feeling bad now because I barely have time to work on it myself.

I'm translating chapter 3 right now, but I won't be able to work on it long. God knows when I'll be able to have the time just sit down for 5 - 6 hours straight and finish the whole thing. (’ ・ω・`) にょろ~ん
(Actually, I don't think I'm capable of translating for 5 - 6 hours straight anyway ^^; )

Nightengale, I would suggest reading them in order.

The anime was...sortof faithful. But I still suggest reading from volume 1 to make sure you dont miss anything. There arent any boring parts, so just relax and enjoy it

If you are a saitoXhenrietta fan, well, do trust that there are many scenes which will leave you salivating. (was it volume 6 or 7....?.... I forget. Either way, you dont want to miss it)

As for volume 9... well I havent gotten my hands on it yet. I read a bit of moonphase's 観想 but I had to stop, because it was way to spoilery.

LOL It would take me like....a year and half to muster out enough energy neccesary to read 8 vols of ZnT. Saiunkoku Monogatari vol.1 took me 4 months to complete, even with external help.

Anyway, I'll try looking into it. My first question still stands regardless.

I'm halfway though vol.9, but I want to refrain from making comments until I can finish it. Probably tomorrow.

All I can say is, Henrietta fans (like me ^^; ) won't be disappointed(?) アンリエッタかわいいよアンリエッタ.

Louise also appears to have fallen into an advanced state of tsundere which I will coin as "bipolar tsundere syndrome" (双極性ツンデレ症候群).

No, I'm serious. Most people just fall in love, but Louise gets this instead.

Ok, I gotta stop.

....wow.

In some series the hero and heroine don't kiss even though they are obviously in love. (Eden's Bowy, Tokyo Underground, Star Ocean EX, Arc the Lad)

And ZnT drops this in our lap.

So....did they actually....do it??? Or did Lousie just hop in Saito's bed and they just literally slepp together, rather than the more-commonly inferred interpretation?

I haven't read vol.9 and won't be starting anytime soon, (( unless Sushi-dono's upcoming preview/review salivates my desire to skip to further volumes )), but I'll say this.

*celebrates release*

Nothing like releasing in three different formats all at the same time!

If you like your fancy stuff, choose K-neko, you like your take-away go Kawaii Heavens, and if you just like plain old wiki website surfing, choose Baka-Tsuki.

We got this market cornered!

*gives Sushi-Y a comforting pat*

there there, don't stress yourself.

*gives sushi-Y a cup of good old english tea*

The more you read, the faster it gets.
I highly recommend reading like a fiend- you are very close to that border where it stops beaing a chore and becomes an addiction.
