It's probably a new Orochimaru body I am guessing...and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the final opponent for Boruto in the movie, it would make sense...but it feels way too obvious...hhhmmmmm I wonder...

I have and we know next to nothing about him, what makes it so difficult? He's a ninja who practically came out of nowhere with pale skin and a very similar appearance, of course I will start thinking there might be a connection, there's no evidence saying I am wrong either

The manga reveals that Naruto and Shikamaru have been keeping track of Orochimaru throughout the years. So it would be very difficult for Orochimaru to sneak back into the village while making it seem that he was staying put, specially with Naruto's high sensory abilities.

Yeah that's not good enough for me to believe cause that doesn't disprove anything merely that they are observing Orochimaru not that they caught him or have him cornered or anything and remember this is the world of ninjas, the whole act of deception is always there

It seems like this gaiden is trying to become another 15 year long series. And i'm not seeing any of the plot being resolved.

I am seeing it as Kishi trying to drag the plot out of nothing...
I mean those guys are not even felt as a threat at all. And yet both guys who supposed to have the hightest power level was not able to overwhelm them. And was able to escape with Sakura. Well whatevet.

I was expecting that Boruto and Sarada would be rivals since their dads were long-time rivals back then. This should be interesting. I already knew what Boruto will be like. As for Sarada, I kind of expecting her to be aloof and arrogant just like Sasuke when he was young.

Sarada is actually quite emotional (in a sweet and good way), she's friendly towards kids her age like Chocho (Chouji's daughter)... etc... In short, she's way more likeable than her @ss of a father (for now at least )

does gaiden happen before or after chapter 700?! kinda confused at the timeline...
edit: like in 700 it sounds like sarada has met her dad already and in 700 looks like they are moving to a new house because of the boxes...but then again in 700+1 the kids look older....but then the house thing doesnt make sense since it looks like two different houses in 700 and 700+1
