This I agree. When one has an unlimited budget, you want to do unlimited things. The constrictions definitely lead to creative solutions to budgetary problems which also fit the character.

Spoiler for Scene creations due to budget:

I want a sequel, but I want it to stay away from being a blockbuster. I don't WANT expensive cameos from Wolverine or Spiderman, keep the cast small so the film can stay lean and focused. Working within restrictions is a freedom in itself, if you don't have to worry about making billions back.
Spiderman is owned by Sony rather than Fox. So fox doesn't have the rights to put spiderman in a deadpool movie, just x-men and fantastic 4

Oh my god...this was just freaking amazing.

On the budget topic...I think like the R rating, budget depends on the kind of movie you are doing. The limited budget worked fine here, but I think if you gave them a lot more money then something good could be done with that. They could make puns about no one else being at the X-Men manor because they couldn't afford to have anyone else there. But you could have had completely different puns that would have been just as good if you could afford to have other actors just there for cameos.

So yeah, if you want to keep the budget limited to avoid doing too much that's fine. But if they want to do a bit more and need to tap into a slightly bigger budget....do it. Like the rating, do whatever you need to make the movie awesome.

Spoiler for Great scene:

Supposedly there are a lot of people that want to be Cable for the next one. This being Deadpool, couldn't they get away with having all of them be Cable? Just in different scenes.

Looks like Disney announced they would leave Deadpools R rating alone

Considering how much money Deadpool 1 made, it'd have pissed the share holders off if they ruined it on purpose.

I was hoping for multiple alternate Cables from all the people that wanted to play him, and have Deadpool just roll with it.

I just realized the funny thing about this is that Josh Brolin plays both Thanos and Cable, the former having a rivalry with Deadpool in the comics since both of them are in love with Death.
Since Disney now owns the X-Men film rights, it's gonna be funny if Thanos and Cable meet face to face.
