Time to return to the dungeon and pick up girls! And for once the series title is actually accurate, right down to whether it's wrong to pick up said girl in this specific instance
 .It's always neat when Rina Hidaka gets to voice a non-loli character, albeit Wiene is very childlike in her mannerisms, but as with most Rina Hidaka characters she is unbelievably cute. No wonder Bell couldn't help himself by saving her  . So exactly what is going on in the dungeon? Are there monsters that are somehow gaining human sentience through evolution or experimentation? Wiene seemed to remember in her dreams back when she was a normal monster trying to kill adventurers, so she wasn't necessarily always this way. I kind of assumed that old god might be behind it, but it seems like he's trying to find someone who can protect those monsters  .I'm surprised Hestia took Wiene in easier than Lili did. I didn't think she'd be willing to let in any cute looking girl (even a monster girl) in who is so clingy to Bell, but maybe because she's a childlike monster girl she doesn't see her as competition. Heck, in bed together it seems like Wiene is the child to Bell and Hestia's mom and dad  . Hey, let's all declare our love of best boy Bell! Of course, Lili, Haruhime, and Hestia's were probably the real romantic confessions of the lot  . Nothing quite like female bonding in the nude with our gorgeous and busom (sorry Lili) female cast  !Also nothing quite like getting glomped on by a naked monster girl with sharp claws  . Blonde elf Lili is something I didn't know I needed in my life . Eina! I wish she had gotten some lines, but it was nice to see her  .So is Hermes' Familia trying to find and rescue the monsters or just ascertain where they are ?The new Opening is a solid DanMachi Opening, featuring Bell on the side of the monsters against the people holding them prisoner and seemingly coming to blows with Ais over it  .

I was also rather amused that the English translation of the title pretty much described this episode to a T. This season seems like it's going to be a lot more interesting than the previous one, albeit that's not very hard.
Really liking the mystery and the fact apparently no one knows why monsters are becoming sentient. Not too hard to see where the plot is going. Hestia was as perfect as usual. Wiene is pretty much a child, so I wasn't surprised she didn't display any jealousy and welcomed her with open arms.

Things have gotten pretty interesting right from the start. Bell is definitely literally picking up girls in the dungeon now, but t his was a case where that is 100% understandable. No doubt this girl is a monster and dangerous. Until filed down a bit those claws were darn dangerous with even a casual swipe. But in the end that's no different from most adventurers being insanely dangerous if they aren't careful.
There is no telling if her existence is natural evolution in that dungeon or if someone was trying to create sentient monsters. Could easily see that being intended for the sake of creating powerful weapons that could in theory be controlled if they have a certain level of intelligence. Fair enough for there to be mixed reactions to this girl. Impressed by Hestia taking it all pretty well. But it makes sense with Wiene being very childlike. And at this point what would even be one more rival anyways ?Nice investigation by Lili even if she wasn't happy about this. Did a nice job digging around for intel and avoiding getting caught. It is fair for someone to be uneasy about this and knowing that it could blow up in their faces at any time. Even presuming that Wiene herself doesn't become a threat...that doesn't stop others from coming after them with this as a pretext to do so. But regardless of the threat...Bell is Bell and he's not going to back off on this point.
