I honestly don't, I just want the same character design quality from season 1 and lols I thought of something they are skipping 3 or 4 books meaning even the seasons won't be in chronological order. Lols I can see it now season 1=1 season 2=5 season 4=2 on and on.

Well, since you put it that way...

Take as long as you need!

I think they skipped some of the books because some of the stories were already included in season 1. But still...it feels like a great big conspiracy to annoy the fans with OCD...

Can you imagine an entire series out of order. People thought one season out of order was bad, they had NO clue how much "worse" it could get.

It's pretty obvious they're going to use this to pimp their other series, just like with Lucky Star.

It is already out of order. It can't get worse really since they'll need to be skipping around just to tell the next story anyway. Skipping the advertised story would be a big mistake since it is widely reguarded as the best of the stories thus far...and they've been hyping it for a year now.

Consider that the First Season has all of Book One, and stories from Books 3, 5, and 6, with a touch of Book 2 and 4 in the credits. The next season should be about Book 4 with much of the remaining parts of Books 3, 5, and 6, with possible parts of Book 2 and Book 7 depending on the length of the season. It too will skip all over the place.

It seems like KyoAni might be starting to develop a thing for 4-koma's. There was the recent Lucky Star, the canned Tonari no 801-chan, and the upcomings of K-On!, along with the Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san youtubes lol =P

I was fine with the other 4-Koma including 801-chan. I just wished they wouldn't go trashing them "mysteriously" for no reason.

I wouldn't go dissing down k-On!, the character design is Lucky starish, but really I just want something out already. But I would want S2 more than any of this without question. Of course by the looks of this happening? Who the fuck really knows?

I would like to remind people though that there are no official statements about the production company behind K-On to the best of my knowledge, so proclaiming this to be KyoAni's upcoming show at some point might well be jumping the gun. Seeing who is behind the character designs gives room for some speculation indeed, but that is all it is - speculation. So i would like to ask people to, if not outright return to Haruhi discussion, then at least something that is actually known to be KyoAni related, instead of contributing to this (baseless at this point in time) gossip

checked 2ch again, another proof that new anime produced by kyoani
is because of tbs, which originally surpport kyoani making key animes.

and we know that kadokawa has kyoani's spring and summer time period
while tbs has fall and winter.

if k-on does take kyoani's tbs 2009 time period, then it means that
clannad as may be the last key anime that kyoani made.

someone on 2ch suspect this has something to do with the dvd sale of as.
because according to the japan dvd sales ranking , the first week sales of
as vol.1 is lower about 2000 copies then clannad s1 vol.1 .

I am surprised when I saw that, because I always expected as would surely
sell much better then clannad s1.

I don't even have a clue what's wrong with as since I didn't follow it,
but I can assume that tbs and kyoani are not happy to see that result.

I have been watching Clannad:AS since it started. Every Friday I download the new episode with subs. I can tell you, the first few episodes have bad animation compared to the actual After Story ones now. You can hear alot about it by going to the clannad forum, They argued a lot about it.
