Unlike previous FE games where the minimum EXP gain per kill was 1, units get a minimum of 8 EXP per kill in this game (which can still be multiplied by the Avatar's veteran). It does take a while, but if the goal is only to clear the main game and not the DLC postgame then you don't need to grind as much because a perfect skill build with capped stats in every parameter isn't necessary.
Even then, Champions of Yore 1 is still enough to give you a supply of rare weapons and gold to power through the game with high Mt. |

Just got the DLC packs that were released today, in europe, and have to say they completely break the game.
Basically you get infinite gold supply from the the golden gaffe and master seals from harvest scramble maps. I only got them because I thought they give you more DLC characters.. |Well at least you get some funny dialogues. |

Of course they do that as the DLCs are mainly there to prepare you for the DLC stuff, none of it is ever needed for the base game - not even Lunatic/+.
NA fans rejoice in that we got Bonds now! Well, it's the easiest way if anyone is having too much trouble. Though with pair ups and Rallies it isn't too hard anyway. |

Chapter 10 is the best chapter in the game, that battle, dat music.
Also lol @ this. So many things wrong with this, it's a T rated game like you know dat ass Cammy in SFIV, it makes it more suggestive, the censor the swimsuit yet leave some of dat ass alone etc. Nintendo Censors can't handle dat Tharja. |

Hello guys and gals.
I have this strong intention of buying the game, but I would want to ask a few questions first. 1. Is the game long/does it have a lot of hours of game-play? 2. Post in a Spoiler Tag! Does the game have a content to play on after the main ending? (Like Pokemon's PokeLeague for example) 3. How much chat is there between the characters through the game, how much combat and how much walking around? 4. Are the graphics good and the 3D effect? 5. Overall, would you recommend me the game? Thank-you very much in front. |

2. Spoiler:
3. It's not a standard RPG, so no walking. You go between areas on an overmap. Chat is done based on cutscenes and bond strength, which increase based on being next to characters in battle. I'd say 90%+ of the game is combat in this regard. 4. I don't use the 3D so won't comment on that, but the graphics are good. Not PS3 level or anything, but you can check the demo or youtube videos for examples of the graphics. 5. If you like strategy games or any previous Fire Emblem, definitely. |

but why are the sparkles censored ?

3. Each chapter is a battle and there's some chat before and after each chapter. Also affinity system provides a lot of (optional) dialogues. There're enough battles with the main story, paralogues, spotpass, DLC,... There's no walking around. 4. Fight animations are really nice. 3D effect is pleasant but not impressive. 5. Yes! I knew some guys who didn't like much T-RPG but they were sold on this game.

Considering I hardly have enough proficiency in jp, decided to cave in with the EU FE bundle.
I'm sort of disappointed by the translation though, and I'm not talking about the censorship. Whereas they did a good job keeping a fitting speech style for most characters (such like Frederick and Vaike), some lines are dubious at best and I guess it is generalized. The primary example I found was in chapter 6 cut-scene: Spoiler for Chapter 6:
I assume a sizable amount of the original script was altered. And whereas censorship is to be expected (kinda), mistranslations like this one are... silly at best. I don't like to be entitled whatsoever, and I'm quite happy they added dual audio etc. But if they can't really translate at least correctly things like that, it is a fail mark on such aspect, period.

I loved MU x Cordelia's convo if they're married. If anyone has any doubts about Cordelia moving on from Chrom than they should view this.
Hell, viewing Cordelia(She must be unmarried) x Chrom convo before this also makes sense as well. Cordelia doesn't disappoint, marrying her was a very awesome decision even if it's very poor or optimization due to Severa being awesome already. Also, this hilarious image from Summer Scramble between Sumia and Miriel! Spoiler:
It's from those from Serenes Forest. |
