I may be wrong at this anyway...
That's because they're likely going the way GONZO did it. AIC should not turn it into another senseless ecchi junk

Just kiddin' there

Of course, all we have here are just theories and opinions.

It started with that interview of Takamura Kazuhiro. We couldn't be 100% sure if the translation was pin point accurate or..
He could be making last minute changes nullifying what he stated before in that interview..

Anyway, we will find out in a few days once the series starts airing again.

Hmmm...Got myself a copy of Dengeki Hobby Magazine, and was surprised to see an article on the Strike Witches anime in it. There's a display of the characters, pretty much the same character designs as first season, EXCEPT...

Slight costume changes for Charley and Minna. No explanation for it. Minna's costume change I can understand (it looks more like a proper uniform this time--possibly got promoted), but Charley's is...an odd choice. It's colored like a flight jacket (red-brown), but doesn't look all that different style-wise from her original costume.

I don't get it. Why trouble themselves with only two characters? Either keep the existing character designs, or change the lot of them, I can understand, but I don't see why they'd make such a fiddly change for no real benefit.

BTW: I don't have a scanner handy, but the DHM modelers did a pretty good job at detailing and panel-lining the Strikers of a Mobip Yoshika.

Because of that, I am now tempted to go crazy and do a repaint of Yoshika's Striker unit to model a late-war Mitsubishi Zero~~~nyoron

the Zeros in Strike Witches are the earlier models (M3 models if I am correct).....I like the M8 paint job more.....or the one in Zero no Tsukaima.

It's because most people can't accept that anime studio nowadays are basically only making moe-orientated shows. Moecchi falls under this as well, so the last Strike Witches season hasn't left much optimism for a serious show about fighting and military tatics, which is what people seem to want out of Strike Witches.
While cool, I think it's incredibly unlikely. So I'm just going to enjoy it for all it's stupidity and moecchi (and yuri) when it comes out.

No airing date included in it but according to the comments, the airing dates are;
- tvk:7/3@26:00
- サンテレビ:7/5
- テレ玉:7/7@25:30

Main site for SW2 is still the same as before - http://s-witch.cute.or.jp/pc/
Trailer is short but am still glad to see it.

Seems to be kinda big, I wonder if we could upload the trailer to an AS torrent page. I know a lot of times prior to actually releasing episodes that torrents for the trailers alone get listed.

The anime starts this night on TV Saitama, in the same timeslot as Omamori Himari.

Huh, not until 7 PM. A little late in the afternoon, but it does put it closer to when I stream Ookami-san, so my two anime of the day are closer together...

I shall return in the evening.

Ditto for the Netherlands, even though we know that show is never coming here anyway. Lovely.

Oh well, at least we tried. Back to pirating.

They're still around. They're no longer as active now, but there's a new project with Range Murata.
