It's definitely a porno RPG. When I saw the character designs I was like "zahhh?" Then wrote it off as a wank fest. Is it any good by the way? Typically ones that are "sex sells" tends to not be up to par.

Put away "Rune Factory: Oceans" since I finally got married in it and honestly I've just had enough of it. I've only put in all the time and effort to come this far since I'm stubborn and didnt want all the time I spent to "clear" the main story go to waste. But I honestly dont think I'll be playing this game for a while unless I'm REALLY bored. There were just a number of WTF elements that I couldnt bear with much longer...orz

As for now I'm killing time by going back to "Disgaea 3". Currently waiting on my copies of "Nendoroid Generation" and "ONEPIECE Kaizoku Musou" to come in the mail. I'm hoping that the "ONEPIECE Kaizoku Musou" will live up to all the hype.

Also debating on whether I should go ahead and get Pokemon Black since now they've announced a "2" to Black and White. I've been putting off getting games for the DS since the touch screen on mine has been whack for quite some time now.

First off, congratulations on finally getting a PSP Next, that's an awesome list of games to start off with

<Has all of those games except FFT

Hehe thanks a bunch! Vita came out and everyone was ditching their PSPs for cheap so I got one finally. I can never buy a console when it's new, but I reap the benefits when it's old. The list I had on a wish list for so long, I am playing them all to death. Unlimited Codes is great for brief waits, while Dissidia is good for long waits. I focus on the RPGs when I am at home~ Somehow I'll get them all done and explore more games~

I played in the TERA CBT2 this weekend and the combat was fun. The way combos/chained skills are handled make it feel very action-y (most of your skills are insta-cast/have extremely short cast times and cooldowns, so technically it is not a TRUE action MMORPG, it just FEELS like one). There is no lock-on system as in your standard MMORPG; both melee and ranged classes must actually aim (especially ranged). PVP is really fast-paced because of this. People's opinions of the characters design aside, the game is quite pretty at the highest settings (it's not a graphics intensive game, I assume most people were playing at mid or max settings).

However, ALL the rest is cookie-cutter MMORPG fanfare (ex: LOTS of go kill x amount of y quests and lackluster NPC dialogue no one cares about, in addition to a lack of [good/interesting] lore). The game will be about as fun as people want to make it. I'm not fan of it being P2P. I predict that it will follow in Aion and L2's footsteps and go F2P eventually -- if I wanted to pay for an overly pretty game with so-so quests, GW2 is a smarter purchase. If TERA goes F2P, it's very likely I'll return. Otherwise, it's not worth the money at ALL at the moment, in my opinion.

Tera Online - Lancers seem overpowered

Divinity 2: Ego Draconis - Just got this game on a whim, so giving it a shot since it didn't work on my last computer.

^When compared to how powerful the other 3 melee classes are, Lancer seemed just fine to me. It's supposed to have the lowest dps and overall dmg output of the 4, and it rightfully did (I tried every class except for Mystic, and Lancer was the one I spent the most time with). The only way I could see someone believing that a Lancer was OP was if you were pvping with one who was of a significantly higher lvl than you.

Thanks a bunch for this review of the game. So it's like another Aion scenario when the game looks incredibly beautiful, but in reality it's still your cookie cutter MMORPG. I like that it has the action style that it does, but I like you probably won't be held into it for long. A beautiful game isn't enough to hold my attention, specially if the beauty is focused on one thing rather than the other.

I was shocked to see Aion go free to play, and may play it for a bit again with Hooves. I have always wanted to see the later levels and if it's free I can take my time. The only fear I have with F2P is the bot issue. There are so many bots in Lineage II that it's disgusting. It made me stop playing it. Oh well I guess when Tera goes open beta I will see what I feel, but so far your thoughts mirror how I expect to feel about it.

FFT is a very worthy game to get. Even more than a decade since its release, it has tons of replayability if you try to beat things differently. Like doing single class games. Or single class single character games.

^It sucked that War of the Lions has the extremely bad slowdown issues. That made the game damn near unplayable for me. I really hope it is fixed in the IOS version.

I just started playing Fate Unlimited Codes, and started with Archer (luv it It's a really good game !

I'm also playing Fate Extra with Archer again, but I'm pretty much stuck at facing Berserker, he's absolutely unbeatable...I guess I'll have to do a lot of 'boar killing' to improve my servant's skills to continue the game but it's worth it.

It's definitely one of the best JRPG on the PSP, but I found out the sequel will be on the Vita. What a letdown

Still playing "Disgaea 3", collecting more weapons/items and leveling up, finally progressed far enough to get Asagi. I was surprised, in a good way, that Marona wasnt a DLC character this time.

Also got my copy of "Nendoroid Generation", and it is just TOO CUTE. HNNNGH. orz
So far the only thing about it that I dont like is the load time, which COULD be overcome with the media install that I'm not opting to do, and the battles get quite dull and repetitive really fast. Cute is fine and all but there's only so much it can do.

Though I was glad that there were more characters then I thought there'd be. I wasnt expecting to see characters like:

Spoiler for characters:

Now I'm just waiting on my copy of "ONEPIECE Kaizoku Musou" to come...orz

Completed Far Cry 2 on few days ago (without getting all the diamond briefcases and Jackal tapes), and starting to play Disgaea 4 on the day before yesterday. (Not really remember the actual date)

However, the Disgaea 4 that I got was the version with extra contents (Fuuka & Desco chapter). Most likely will grinding on Item World for a few days, then just going to 'marathon' the main-story mode.

Pretty amuse by the dialogs on the end of each Main-story mode stage, somehow feels like watching some Anime's next-episode preview.
