In the story, the seasons have changed, and it will soon be the second spring. The poor student older brother Tatsuya and the honor student younger sister Miyuki have finished their first year at their magic high school, and are on their spring break. The two go to their villa on the Ogasawara Island archipelago. After only a small moment of peace, a lone young woman named Kokoa appears before them. She has abandoned the Naval base, and she tells Tatsuya her one wish.

The film will feature a new character named Kokoa, who is a deserter from the National Defense Navy's base, and who ends up in Miyuki's care. Her appearance is that of a very young woman, but her true character is shrouded in mystery.

err what? it just me have a very bad eyes or this trailer totally different from the earlier synopsis??? her face a bit different n look like she attracted more to Erika

Its not just her, mostly everyone looks different in the trailer compared to the initial art. Kokoa now looks like she could be a female clone of Tatsuya tbh

Clearly Satroll is trolling on the first key visual

The new PV clearly makes much more sense because Miyuki isn't mother material; . But yeah the person in the suit looks much more like a swordman than Tatsuya.

Kokoa looks like a Tatsuya clone in the PV than the first key visual she looks like Maya clone. Satou clearly hasnt write the full script/minor twicks when he was advertising the movie.

arr you right, and look like only miyuki design remain intact also i just focus at Kokoa first n dont care about the others... or it just like @amtro said before

i never though he will put troll in his first key visual movie but i dont think it just about Miyuki dont have mother material and since this PV arise, i have a doubt about this movie current synopsis validity....this 1st PV make me feel Tatsuya n Miyuki just supporting character and erika really look like the main character.

hopefully this movie make a connection with current LN storyline

Plus what all of you think about Kokoa ability???

Well I was just kidding when I said he was trolling

He probably made some minor adjustment like visuals because they change studios Got the same vibes to even though Tatsuya is the one narrating; Kokoa is talking to Erika. Probably the main story is Tatsuya and co saving Kokoa and fulfilling her last wish as most "clones" have shorter lifespan like Sakurai series.

Yeah even I was surprised by how much screentime she has in the trailer and they showed lots of her emotions as well.
Well technically speaking, since Tat doesn't have much feelings on his face, they gotta show s.o else.

But I won't be fool by this pv side characters don't have a lot of screentime next pv will def focus on Miyuki. And now they tease Mayumi's fan as well

Talk about motherly figure, wouldn't Mizuki fit the category better?

Well we wouldn't expect Tatsuya saving random people; someone needs to pull Tatsuya in a mess before he moves; and guess who that troublemaker

I know the design is are really made well; too bad we won't be seeing swimsuits anytime soon. Mizuki will be a good mother in the future but right now she'll go red just thinking about having a child and Shizuku & Honoka would ask people first before doing something. Miyuki couldn't careless unless they specifically ask her. So Erika fits it more as she gets overprotective, extremely friendly, childish and she is also an orphan.

That I would like see too and apparently its original story which is probably isn't canon but can be put as a side story.

Yeah, considering the timetable for the events, it could be nicely put in the canon timeline if need be since its taking place in a untouched part in the story, but of course it could be non-canon too like you said. Anyways I'm pretty optimistic about this movie now, it looks really good so far.

Tatsuya emotion fall to number 2 category, what i need the most Tatsuya in ******* action, even leo and erika got both emotion n action scene.

According to the Eng sub and my memory, she said 'my wish is to be saved' to Erika.
So I guess she meets Erika first then have Erika takes her to Tat.

The katana guy could be the enemy or Erika cause seriously I can't think of anyone else using Katana on our side.

Q.新キャラ・九亜が発表されましたが、達也・深雪達のいつものメンバーで、いちばん子供の扱いになれてい るのは一体だれですか？正直、あの達也が少女とどのように接するのかあまり想像ができません（ 笑）
A.少年少女の扱いが一番上手いのはエリカです。彼女の実家の道場には、一応「少年の部」がありまして、稽 古に熱意を失っていた時期も年少者の指導に駆り出されていた為、子供の扱いには慣れています。
少女の修行者がいるという意味では幹比古も同じ境遇だったのですが、彼は自分を優先することが許される立場 でしたので、年下の子供の世話に慣れる機会はありませんでした。
ただエリカは子供の扱いに慣れているというだけで、子供の世話が好きというわけではありません。子供を構い たがるのはほのかです。

小笠原諸島を選んだ理由はいくつかありますが、魔法師には私的な海外旅行が許されないと言う設定が最大のも のです。
そこからステージの選択がスタートしていると言ってもいいでしょう。日本国内で、架空の舞台が設定しやすく 、大規模な戦闘が起こっても本編に影響が無い地域。
この条件を満たす場所として小笠原諸島の架空の島をメインステージに設定しました。

Q.今回、劇場版のストーリーを作るにあたって、小説の執筆と比較して苦労したところや意識・工夫したとこ ろ、注目して欲しいポイントをお聞きしたいです。また劇場版の前に予習しておいた方がよいことはありますか ？

you right, but the problem is i cannot use any google related stuff until just now+im bad at english subject so sorry about that...

plus for the answer for the last question it look like we will got backstory for certain individual (probably Kokoa origin or someone new) and the movie timeline will happen after Visitor arc and before Double seven arc.

Now i wonder how sato will pull out 'Tatsuya become a legend' thing like what it mention in PV because the current movie storyline not make much sense except if the story work around during okinawa/yokohama invasion or after Prologue of disturbance arc
