What did Meyrin win in this ranking while Lacus and Luna were obviously above her?!

Well, perhaps, you meant to compare her votes with Cagalli's. Yes, in this August 2005 Gundam Ace Ranking, her votes were higher than Cagalli's. However, this is the only month, (that was actually released in July, 2005 that covered the episodes shown in June, 2005), among all other months in Gundam Ace only, that showed her votes more than Cagalli.

However, I don't even see whole lot of votes for Meyrin in other magazines (except Newtype, maybe). Oh, well, my June 2006 magazines should be arrived soon so I can post them later.

Just to make it clear..that ranking was only for August 2005 (almost a year ago)Gundam Ace magazine (that was actually covering the episodes possibly in June 2005 prior to its official released date in July 2005). I always expect the posts in this thread should be current but somehow we kept seeing old data back and forth. Few month ago, a year ago and etc. Thus, it's really confusing everyone who wants to know the up-to-date info. I think this thread should be called "Random Monthly Gundam Power Rankings"

I can't comment much about Luna in Gundam Ace Ranking. As of now, Luna's votes is always as stable as Lacus but that only happens in Gundam Ace Ranking. In other magazines such as Newtype, Animedia and Animage, both Lacus and Cagalli are always above them. In some magazines for certain months I don't even see either Luna or Meyrin in the ranking at all.

Well, once I have the new magazines, I think I really need to move my butt and get my fingers on keyboard.

Even though it's called August 2005 Gundam Ace but it was actually released in between June and July 2005; therefore, it covered the episodes possibly towards the end of June, 2005 and the beginning of July, 2005. Again, year is important here now .

The newest July 2006 Gundam Ace magazine will be released next week in the week of May 22, 2006. I hope I made it clear to everyone.

Which is why I was curious why Luna's name was not mentioned for the movie... they only announced the big four and Shinn... You'd think the cannon girl for Shinn should at least be mentioned too for the movie especially since she has steady ranking in Gundam Ace :x and tons of figuring merchandize (which I must say is starting to piss me off cuz I can't seem to find any decent Cagalli figuring >.>)

Anyway I look forward to your July ranking... hopefully we'll see Cagalli do better... I'm really starting to worry about her role in the movie >.>; (I hope she's more than a cameo)
