Still, I wanted Seul to also be involved in his training as well... 3 sunbae and a prodigy. Can NOT beat that. Oh well...
VICTORY FOR SEUL!!! ...y'know, I was about to ask why the others aren't particpating but then I remembered - they're already seeded into the main tourny - they don't need to bother with the prelims.

Can yall imagine if Jae Gu passed the pre-lims later on and was placed to fight Dal Dal? I think Dal Dal would die just from the revelation...
The other two would fight, not seriously but enough to beat him without injuring him I reckon. |

Pretty much.
I think Moon would beat him up the most. She knows better than the other two what Jae Gu's limits are. Queen would land fewer hits and even then, they would be pulled because she doesn't want to hurt him. That and it would extend the match between them so KOing him wouldn't be in her best interests.

Couldn't they just easily push him out of the ring (there're not even ropes)? I don't fully remember Wild High's rules but a ringout means KO right? No need for them to hurt their crush
Could you imagine Jae Gu to ever fight a girl in the manhwa seriously, with punches to the face and all? I certainly can't. |

Hard to say about the girls pulling punches.
On the one hand yes I can totally picture the girls not really wanting to hurt him and taking a less beat 'em down approach(like a ring out) but on the other hand, not taking the fight seriously would be kinda hypocritical of them, since they were literally beating it into him to take the league seriously. And as Waven points out the real problem is Jae Gu himself, like many other stories, it's mostly the guy that will have trouble beating on a girl. Still I hope the author does make this interesting, The God of Highschool had a pretty damn cool tournament in that, like really cool(even tho currently it's kinda all weird super power stuff going on, not as good as the first tournament)

Well, he thinks that he's the weakest member of Wild High due to his late training but he's not that far at the bottom. So he probably also thinks that no matter how hard he tries, he'd never defeat one of the female fighters at his school. Which can also work to his advantage since that thought has also occurred to the female fighters as well. Only Dal Dal, Moon, and Queen really know just how hard he hits. His natural reach and strength advantage as a guy would really surprise some of the lower-tier girls that aren't prepared for it.
