It lacked creativity the moment Orihime screamed 'Kurosaki-kun!' for the eighteenth millionth time during that hateful arc. It's also not helping they only have one move (as Demon God noted.) and what happens is rather equivalent to boredom.

1. Epic fight for once--
2. Boring filler arc
1. See rest of--
2. Another boring filler arc.
1. Epic fight finished!
2. Filler arc
1. Actual canon story progresses.

Indeed.

Though make no mistake, it degenerated awhile before HM arc. It just continued and continued as such.

The perpetrator is called Tite Kubo, who has excellent drawing skills, but the story writing of a three year old.

Bleach is superb in it's artwork, that has creativity in it -- at least, more then the story. As we've seen, Tite Kubo uses three look-alikes.

Kurosaki Ichigo
Shiba Kaien
Ashido

The last one is the only one I care about anymore. Ulquiorra? Stopped caring the moment he said that cheesy one liner. Starrk? Get over it, be happy your strong. Rukia? Still cool, if not useless in any of the fights anymore.

Ashido and Kurosaki Karin. That's about it.

Its creative in its characters, their pasts, abilities and their looks. In terms of story..... once the SS arc ended, just....eh. Even most of the fights are repetitive as it goes:

Character enters fight
Shows off new moves/kicks butt
Enemy grins/kicks butt
Someone saves them
New person fights showing off cool moves
Enemy grins/kicks butt
Someone else saves them
New person obliterates enemy

Though I gotta say I LOVE the last battle between Ichigo and Ulquiorra. Too bad for Halibel though, a completely unexplored character.

She is a girl so she got what she deserved, Kubo style.

Naruto had it's share of fillers, a huge share of it in the original series and they were terrible. I went off Naruto for a while after Shippuden started but after recently tuning back in, it is extremely good now. So much has happened in the time I stopped watching and soon I will catch up on missed episodes.

One thing I don't like about Bleach, no one really dies. It might not be the style of anime to have characters die off but after years of watching, it is simply going from fight to fight with story moving at a very slow pace.
In Naruto on the other hand, Jiraiya's death was very emotional, the twist on Itachi and Asuma's death. I guess they're very different animes to begin with.

Naruto does one thing very well, work on characters and the relationships between them. When characters die in Naruto, it's quite emotional especially when you see the reaction of other characters to the death. Bleach however, I wouldn't feel the same way if anyone died, maybe I would think "aw, that sucks" but that would probably be the height of it.

If I had to describe the two. Naruto is like an RPG, heavily story and character driven whereas Bleach is more a beat-em-up, going fight to fight, action to action.

Very good description. Too bad they just make beat-em-up Naruto games.
