I think a better example would be to tell a New Yorker to get over 9/11. (sure way to get in a fight if you've never tried it)

Except not... Katrina was a man made disaster not a wanton act of destruction and hate... unless Hurricanes can hate our freedom?

Congrats to UConn for their first BCS bid. Too bad they'll probably get obliterated.

But hey, still a nice recruiting booster for the future. And the paycheck is great, too.

Still a major tragedy, the only real difference is that 9/11 gave some people a direction to funnel their anger and hate. Though you could say the same for those killed by the hurricanes/earthquake as that some people tend to ask "why would God do this?" when they were good people.

Anyways...back on topic...

Texans let me down by losing to the Iggles...and I'm not sure if I'm ready for the possible trainwreck of Dallas vs. Indianapolis...

49ers getting their asses kicked as usual. The offseason (or lockout) can't come quick enough. Tired of Mike Singletary as head coach.

Bengals just made a mental mistake and jumped offsides on 4th down. Saints scored the next play.

Well at least we won't have to worry about him committing suicide.

We will however, hear him proclaim the Saints as the BEST TEAM EVER. -facepalm-

So far so good.. damn colts d can't stop anybody, and peyton threw a pick in his first drive, usually it signifies a terrible game ahead for the colts.

there u go, peyton picked again and returned for six, oh well can't be a super bowl contender every year

Well now its only a 3 point game. Just like the Broncos and Bengals, the Cowboys will find a way to lose.

Good game between Atlanta and Tampa Bay. 14-14 at half time.

eh manning has tossed 2 games away, they have zero running game and the D is like a leaking dike on the fifth day of the fat kid sticking his finger in the hole, it's about to burst and teams are about to have their way with the d like a cheap thai hooker

indy's run game is so bad that my friends and I have started calling running backs that average .5 per carry donald browning it.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH when it rains it pours. Peyton has been picked off 4 times in teh past two games taht have been returned for scores. It's just impossible to be a preennial playoff team

Looks like a mental issue now.

Well, you can't really blame everything on the guy. He lost Clark for the year, Collie and Addai have been banged up throughout the season.

Only down by 6 now. Game is not over yet, as long as the D holds up.

Edit: And just like that the Colts are up.

Oh, I'm not picking on Manning, but Colts' management dropped the ball by not making an effort to find a viable coach after Dungy left and expecting Peyton to do everything. It looked solid last year, but now that they're in a position where actual coaching is necessary, it's killing them. Manning should not be the coach of that team.

I expect the Colts to be in the running in the Jim Harbaugh Sweepstakes. Or Brian Schottenheimer.

And the Colts just blocked a punt to take the lead.
