Just watched 5 & 6. Really hate Mina. I am glad Akira is seeing how evil she is. I can't help but fear for Yuki's well being though. I was screaming at the TV when she volunteered to help her cook. Oh, and they are so stupid when they opened the door to the church. That happens all the time on TV too. Stupid people.

Spoiler for Why Mina was glowing:
They stated ahead of time that they were having some time constraints. Even still I immensely enjoyed the action we did see. Makes me look forward to the blu rays intently now. I'm just glad it wasn't a recap like the rumor was.

I don't really see the issue with episode 7. Judging by BMG 10, I expected much worse. I liked how this came out and I'm sure that once this hits BD, it'll turn out even better.
And I'm curious where all the Mina-haters are now, after learning her true motives and feelings. Spoiler for episode 7:

Perhaps this just my misunderstanding, but did I really just see Mina try to blame the world changing as to why she was so uptight? I mean really you've lived for how long and are just coming to terms with that now? I'll try and go back over those slides to see if I missed a line or something.
As to the slide show, it comes off as completely horrible and killed, for me, any sense of immersion to what was actually supposed to be shown. Spoiler for 7:
Honestly, its just a stupid way to get people to invest in the dvds/blue rays. If they want to make it like that fine, but don't come in later saying 'here's the finished version(what it was supposed to be in the first place), but you have to pay extra for it'. |

This show has already shown that it's not really an adaptation of the manga, rather it being it's own telling of the story, so i don't see why it matters if she glows or not. Personally i found that it added quite the effect to her true form.

Although that move turning the PMs kid into a vampire was a bad idea if it was anyone else it would easily started a war. and nature of something doesn't really matter to us hell in castlevania terms belmont sees vampire feed on human belmont murders vampire no ifs and buts. as for the glow on Minas true form me thinks thats a form of censorship but what do i know One thing i admire about the tepes family they were not stupid enough to abuse the werewolves unlike Victor and his coven in underworld movie.
