I am more interested in what I saw in the preview for next episode. It is quite surprising in the preview, but is it okay to discuss it now?

Well, that was anti climatic to say the least. The next episode should remedy this feeling of dissatisfaction though

Regarding the preview, I'm not referring to those two girls. I meant that I think I saw Saito and Louise on bed at night in the preview but I can't see their faces.

I concur. Normally I'd say "it's a fakeout; with this series, nothing's going to happen there." But I just said that two episodes ago, because Saito had Louise on the bed in the episode two preview. Now they're doing it again just two episodes later? It'd be rather dumb if they recycled the same thing just two episodes later, so I'm not sure it's a fakeout this time.....

The Incompetent King has Gone Mad

Anti-climatic, that's how I should describe this episode.

The moment Josef starts to narrate his life's story of failures and not keeping up to his little brother, then that was the moment his Dead End flag was raised, and just when I thought they did a pretty good job with those cool, action background music scores, and those cool Saito fights.

Saito was even given by Julio a pistol to bring up in a sword fight against Josef.

But, the most dense delivery came from Tabitha, and she had more than just reasons to take revenge against Josef for good. Louise wished for Tabitha not to sully herself with Josef's blood, but Saito did not want to meddle with Tabitha's choice if only that he'll be respecting whatever decision she would had chosen.

Tabitha, after some pressing moral issues and against her instincts, chooses to spare Josef in exchange that he'll be indicted by Romalia's criminal court.

Sheffield, loyal to her master until the very end, refused, and what follows became history in a blaze of hell.

Spoiler:

I can hardly picture how things are going to turn out with both Josef and Sheffield gone, since for two previous seasons they masterminded all the political traps to plunge the other countries into open war.

So, what's in store left for Louise and Saito in another 9 episodes left for the grand finalé. Hope that they won't be killing this season with fillers after fillers after fillers after more fillers.

One or two are enough to make sense, but the rest must be spent on a good plot, however, this season might suffer or not from bad scriptwriters.

I don't think so; aren't there only 13 episodes in this season? They're covering like 10 novels here(seasons 1 2 and 3 all covered 4 novels each) so i dunno about that...

But then again they just wiped 3 or 4 novels with these 3 episodes..

Spoiler for Mega ultra spoiler:

Vol 13-15 are covered as episodes 1-3, so in order to make 1 volume as 1 episode they had to cut off a lot stuff from the light novels and make new scenes. There are a lot of good scenes from those volumes so it's no surprise a lot people are unsatisfied.

There's no way to know for sure since the anime has some new scenes that are different from the light novels. We'll just have to wait till it airs.

Also, next episode starts from vol 16 and at the rate it's going it seems that the last few episodes may cover the last 2 volumes that have not been published yet. The author did say he already had some ideas for the last 2 volumes' stories, so I guess we will be seeing the short version soon in the anime but the long version much later.
