The first disc releases in Japan later this month with two episodes on it (on the 21st), and they'll be released monthly over six volumes. There'll also be a second OVA/OAD being released in a few weeks with the next volume of the manga.

Well, with jump festa 2013 getting closer, looks like in december 23, there'll be a panel featuring the authors of the series, Momo, Yami, Rito, and Lala's VA. Lucky for me, I've concocted the perfect questions to ask them come panel time. BEHOLD!

To Love Ru Pinkness 09 - Not Necessarily Incompatible

The gap between the scene at the start of this episode and the scene at the end was something. Some Oshizu/Mikado yuri shower action is simply stunning - it's a relationship I want to look more into. Into every sweaty crevice. But the majority was Rito and Yami stuck together. Via Celine and a space magnetic device rather than handcuffs, as the plot usually goes, but much of the story beats were the same... and other than some slapstick, Yami went along with the whole thing rather well. She and Rito have an almost inseparable relationship at this point.

"Cute" is really the best way to describe it. So it appears I misread the preview. The person to be afraid of wasn't Yami, it was Mea. Oshizu's mind-dive quickly jumped from perverted to terrifying. That... thing Mea did with her hair looks more like a video game midboss than anything Yami's done. So that's what they're capable of. Next week is a look into Yami's inner demons, but even then, I suspect it'll only make her and Rito grow closer. Not that they aren't close enough right now.

Doing a fanservice-heavy series with some thoughtful character introspection is not necessarily incompatible.

I'm really enjoying how Xebec is handling this adaptation. Oshizu following Mea at night made the atmosphere a lot more sinister, and both Yami and Nana looked cuter than ever.

Loved how they were being such cockteases both in this ep and the preview regarding Tearju. Next week is going to be glorious

If you're a Yami fan this was a pretty good episode. Unfortunately I'm not; her character bores me and I don't find her that attractive. On the plus side, as Freeter mentioned Nana was especially cute. Need more Haruna too...

Nana, (who is in denial about what she really wants, AKA Rito.)got a little more than she bargain for in bath.

And Yami is really openning up to Rito a lot, to talk about her past with him.
