The M60 will make the versus mode very unbalanced, but then again the inclusion of the spitter has already done that. So I guess it is only fair.

Hope that the recoil will be real for the M60 otherwise it'll be too easy lol .
Maybe the fallen survivor can do something hard?

Lol having wielded a real GPMG myself IRL (not an M60 but a FN MAG), the gun's recoil is not that tough to control in bursts, the main problem is with the weight. Without the ammo can the gun already weighs over 10kg.

As for the fallen survivor.....maybe he can dance if everyone just sneak past him. Or maybe the survivor is infect but does not develop the bloodlust, just deranged.

The M60 is a LMG and sure it will have a kick, but your right the main part of that kick would come from the weight. After all they wouldn't design a gun for a man to hold if he can't even shoot it without assistance.

I'm thinking the fallen infected is just going to make some noise such as talk to himself, and start shouting to attract some horde if he sees you. Afterall he is just an uncommon common so he can't be too powerful.

Ok a video by Gamespot for "The Passing" :

So , what news :

- The passing will contains 3 chapters .
- Survivors will get new dialogue .
- We'll meet the survivor in L4D 1 at the beginning and at the end of the campaign .
- News weapons : M60 and a gold golf club .
- For the Fallen Survivor , he'll run away when he'll see you so kill him fast to take his equipment .

Did i miss something ?

Hope the M60 isn't just an oversized bullet hose that you can only pray and spray with.

Hopefully burst fire/firing while kneeling will let you shoot it accurately.

Well as asual for 360 won't be free . Otherwise PC version is free ( but why i'm doubting a bit ?)

Yeah , M60 seems really powerful with not so much recoil .

Not really. Looks about as powerful as a average assault rifle. You'd be able to determine it's actual power if he used it against a tank.

I'm suspecting it's real power is ammo longevity and clip size. Also I half suspect it works like the grenade launcher in that you might not be able to pick up more ammo for it, so that might be the balance to it's power.
