I once read a fanfic with the exact same dialogue and story. The fanfic goes on for quite a few chapters. This is probably just a comic of it. In any case its good. But too bad theres no C.C

Why are people so infatuated with Lelouch, royalty, knights and world domination? LOL. Almost every CG video on youtube is filled with "YES YOUR HIGHNESS/MAJESTY, ALL HAIL BRITANNIA/LELOUCH" Literally 80% + of the comments are of that nature.

If I recall correctly people weren't that into Britannia back when CG was still airing, it was all about the Black Knights and Suzaku was hated because he was a "lap dog" of Britannia. I don't remember anybody saying how cool being a Knight was etc, in fact most people hated Suzaku even more for moving up within the system by becoming Euphy's knight...

Well, truthfully, we only really know anything about Lelouch's and Suzaku's dads. Kallen's is mostly a non-entity. Shirley's was apparently good to her. Milly's parents seem to forcing her into an arranged marriage. Ougi is going to be a dad at the end, and he was kind of a creep at the end too, I suppose.

Just because he was whipped and a hypocrite doesn't mean he'll make a terrible father. Maybe his kids come out a little gullible, but that's it.

it seems as if the writers in Code Geass were only raised by thier mothers.

And yet its still realistic from my viewpoint as from my experiences, decent families seem to be incredibly rare. Of all the people I know in real life, I am the only one who has a decent, unseparated family.

I see it as the Japanese version of the Rob Liefeld craze. Basically people like Lelouch because of the fact that he kills his own allies, and he brainwashes people.

The same thing happened with Rob Liefeld in the early 90's where he was probably the biggest artist in the business, basically because all of his characters where guys who carried guns, had huge muscles, and basically acted completely different than the heroes of the past.

Lelouch is a completely different character than the heroes of previous mecha series like Amuro Ray, and Kira Yamato, and people latch on to it.

Well, they've got some kind of deep-rooted psychological issues anyway. Possibly having to do with their mothers.

It's the same for me. Of all the people I've met in my life I think I've only seen one or two people with "traditional" families. Everyone else is either separated or has step-relatives or something.

Anyway, as far as the dads of Code Geass, I agree that we really haven't seen very many people's dads on the show, so it's hard to come to a consensus on it. You should watch Lost if you want to see a bunch of people with dad issues. But yeah, we all know that Charles at least isn't going to win father of the year
