Well since we already discussing well you know what I must say that the colored page for this chapter was also nicely done, has it been mentioned anywhere in the manga what eye color Outer Moka has got, since I thought it was a different eye color then green ?

real boob-fanservice in r+v? such a rare sight (clothed kurumu doesn't count) but thumbs up for still the best ecchi artwork on the market, reminds me just how much this series benefitted from turning to monthly release. Still wondering though whether this arc is turning out to be a serious one (e.g. snow village) or rather lighthearted...

Well after the latest chapter got released it made me wonder about something.
I mean since it seems that this arc is going to be centered around seals (at least it seems that way right now ... do you think that we will learn something new about Tsukune's Holy Lock.

It's interesting in my opinion to consider something like that as well (especially since Tsukune's vampire power's haven't been mentioned for a while) and this might be a good timing to learn something new about Tsukune's transformation (since it seems the Wong family knows quite a lot about seals and things related to them so it wouldn't be surprising if they knew something about Tsukune's lock as well - and what are the risks of using it too much). I mean we still don't know everything regarding the Holy Lock and even Tsukune's "transformation" has a few mysteries that aren't yet revealed so in my opinion it seems like a good idea to start revealing those mysteries.

R+V has always been monthly, only the english fan translations have ever been any faster. But that was due mostly because of a massive backlog of chapters for season 1, also season 2 was just getting started back then as well, because I remember I was chatting with the boys over at the Franky House forums during that time, and the realeases were more or less weekly, even though the latest chapters of R+V would only coming out once a month still, and we just caught up to it.

Not specifically in words, but I think the color art speaks for itself.

Yes it would indeed, but unless things get hairy for some reason, or someone notices Tsukune's holy lock, I don't think that will be touched on yet.

seems the longer inner Moka is out the more she starts to show emotions other then anger. For a second there I thought she was drinking whiskey on the rocks aboard that plane. Those gremlins look like an evil Mokana

Actually, I think those "gremlins" are closer to those Vorpal Bunnies(or Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog) from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, just more inclined to eat inanimate objects rather than people.

How did that Gremlin has gotten on that plane anyway ?
I think it's quite possible that it was sent by someone and the only organization that could do it is Fairy Tale so probably they will get involved as well. I mean they probably have a branch office in Hong Kong (I heard that this where Tsukune and the rest have went) and since Tsukune and company had a quite flashy entrance it wouldn't be surprising if they get a big welcoming party from Fairy Tale in the next chapter. I mean such a big explosion would probably cause a huge reaction from the humans living in Hong Kong ( and probably Fairy Tale as well) - that is unless the plane was protected by some kind of barrier, but that seems unlikely. (I mean there was nothing in the chapter that suggested it)

And just for all you people that like to analyze youkai social hierarchy, this fanfiction (Stranger in a Strange World) breaks down the "why" youkai society has to hide from humans, and as of the latest chapter, throws Saizo's mentality of wanting to eat all the humans back in his and everyone else's faces. It's quite a good read, and get one thinking about the differences between how humans and youkai socialize.

Oh you're right GrrDraxin I didn't notice it before - must have hadsomething other on my mind, but that doesn't mean that it hasn't been destroyed when the plane crushed (so the explosion might have been seen by some humans living in Hong Kong)

So it might be possible that we will see some kind of welcoming party from Fairy Tale - since I believe they are the ones who sent the Gremlin on Tsukune's and company plane.

technically the arc started last month because that is the chapter in which Moka's Rosario stopped working this chapter follows it as they travel to do something about it.

Ah, nice to know someone familiar with the lingo is here to ask a favor of. Care to summerize:

WHY Moka seemed so distant after Tsukune caught her looking out the window with her "relaxed" expression? I can only deduce that she's having issues weighing her vampire pride versus her tender yet steadily growing heart and affections for Tsukune, and his behavior towards her. Perhaps she's beginning to break in such a way that, though nobody in her life has ever gone to the lengths he has for her well being, probably even above and beyond her own family, that she's beginning to question the whole purpose of her existence and pride.

In any case, I hope this chapter comes out quickly this time. It would make a really good birthday present for me to be able to read it before then.

Yes this is so clearly like Inner Moka,

Spoiler for Inner Moka's thought process:

I mean we finally get more insight on her thoughts about her hidden feelings for Tsukune and what she is troubled by.
I mean that as you said GrrDraxin she's misguided about what the outcome of this development could bring for her and like we saw it has already changed Tsukune's character dramatically, since I think that Tsukune already knows why he want's to get stronger and who he want's to protect, which basically means that I agree with what you said GrrDraxin.

Unfortunately the reason why Inner Moka might have behaved this way is that her vampire pride spoke through her and that Tsukune have finally started to break through it (which is definitely a progress), making Inner Moka conflicted inside - which was made apparent in this chapter from the looks of it. Well it also makes me jump back to the start of Season II where Inner Moka has said that until she is conquered by Tsukune he can't get together with Outer Moka. Well in this chapter we could finally see that slowly her feelings for Tsukune are starting to break out and her previous beliefs might be starting to make Inner Moka crumble inside so it's definitely some progress in my opinion, but I believe she still needs a long time before becoming honest to herself and Tsukune about her feelings. As you have said GrrDraxin what she need's right now is finding her own strength ... what she needs to do right know is what she even suggested to Tsukune during one of his training sessions with her and this fallowing you're own feelings, she just doesn't seem to recognize this yet.

Well it makes this arc seem even more interesting since I'm sure this isn't the last time Inner Moka's secret dilemma's will be mentioned, but it might also suggest that we will get some sort of development in Tsukune as well (probably related to his vampire blood), since even when Inner Moka denies it, he already has become important to her and she will definitely make some progress in solving her problem - or at least finding a solution when Tsukune becomes endangered in some way.

I mean it seems like Inner Moka's issues are also going to be one of the major factor's of this arc - at least that's the impression I get right now, so it wouldn't be surprising if something like what I mentioned before happens in this arc.

What I'd really like to know is what Omote thinks of Ura's views. It's just like Ura to fear something like that.

I'm pretty sure that's why Omote decided to speak up and spook Ura in the process. Omote might have said that Tsukune found strength in deciding that he would protect everyone and Ura can find strength in the same.

Either case, I can't wait for the trans/scanlations to come out! Wonder if Ikeda-sensei threw in a Snakes on a Plane line in there
