I'm probably not going to watch it (maybe?) since I've already watched it before, so I'm just gonna comment on the OP for now.
...Meh. It's obvious and THE correct decision to bring back Megumi, but the animation is much more lackluster compared to the previous OPs. Look at the action scenes. They have to use these movement lines to make them look "good". Then look at the original OP. So much snap, so much flare.

So I think is a good thing that I barely remember the old anime and all the details of the manga, I enjoyed the first chapter, of course is a little worriesome that it seems they will adapt 300 chapters in 52 chapters, even someone that don't know nothing will feel the rush anyway.
I will enjoy this, I was waiting a long time for a remake of shaman king and animation looks good. The only thing that felt weird is chocolove design in the opening and how they take his lips, well I can get use to it. |

I don't think it's good that episode 1 already revealed the birth of the "Hao Asakura" right from the very first second (complete with the very obviously cheesy exposition line). If they didn't do that, the reveal in the future about him could've been more impactful (assuming they'll do it at all) *sigh*.
